My bad, thought it would work without a log in.
Sent it to my wife and she didn't click the link yet. Apparently she's busy.
Lol, she just doesn't want to fall for your Nigerian scams.

Today is Sunday, Oct. 9, the 282nd day of 2022.
There are 83 days left in the year.

Today’s Highlight in History:

On Oct. 9, 2009, President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for what the Norwegian Nobel Committee called “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”

On this date:

In 1888, the public was first admitted to the Washington Monument.

In 1910, a coal dust explosion at the Starkville Mine in Colorado left 56 miners dead.

In 1936, the first generator at Boulder (later Hoover) Dam began transmitting electricity to Los Angeles.

In 1946, the Eugene O’Neill drama “The Iceman Cometh” opened at the Martin Beck Theater in New York.

In 1962, Uganda won autonomy from British rule.

In 1967, Marxist revolutionary guerrilla leader Che Guevara, 39, was summarily executed by the Bolivian army a day after his capture.

In 1975, Soviet scientist Andrei Sakharov (AHN’-dray SAHK’-ah-rawf) was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

In 1985, the hijackers of the Achille Lauro (ah-KEE’-leh LOW’-roh) cruise liner surrendered two days after seizing the vessel in the Mediterranean. (Passenger Leon Klinghoffer was killed by the hijackers during the standoff.)

In 2001, in the first daylight raids since the start of U.S.-led attacks on Afghanistan, jets bombed the Taliban stronghold of Kandahar. Letters postmarked in Trenton, New Jersey, were sent to Sens. Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy; the letters later tested positive for anthrax.

In 2004, a tour bus from the Chicago area flipped in Arkansas, killing 15 people headed to a Mississippi casino.

In 2006, Google Inc. announced it was snapping up YouTube Inc. for $1.65 billion in a stock deal.

In 2010, Chile’s 33 trapped miners cheered and embraced each other as a drill punched into their underground chamber where they had been stuck for an agonizing 66 days.

Ten years ago: Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was sentenced in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, to 30 to 60 years in prison following his June 2012 conviction on 45 counts of sexual abuse of boys. Future Nobel peace laureate Malala Yousufzai (mah-LAH’-lah yoo-SOOF’-zeye), a 15-year-old Pakistani girl who had dared to advocate education for girls and criticize the Taliban, was shot and seriously wounded by a militant gunman.

Five years ago: Declaring, “The war on coal is over,” EPA chief Scott Pruitt said he would sign a new rule overriding the Clean Power Plan, an effort from the Obama administration to limit carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants. ESPN suspended anchor Jemele Hill for two weeks for making political statements on social media; Hill had referred to President Donald Trump as a “white supremacist” in a series of tweets. The bodies of 100-year-old Charles Rippey and his 98-year-old wife Sara were found in the ruins of their Northern California home; they were among the victims of two deadly wildfires in the region.

One year ago: Jonathan Toebbe, a Navy nuclear engineer with access to military secrets, was arrested in West Virginia along with his wife Diana; the Justice Department said Toebbe was charged with trying to pass information about the design of American nuclear-powered submarines to someone he thought represented a foreign government but who turned out to be an undercover FBI agent. (The couple withdrew guilty pleas in August 2022 after a judge rejected plea agreements; they are awaiting trial.) Texas A&M stunned top-ranked Alabama 41-38 to end the Crimson Tide’s winning streak at 19 games. California became the first state to say large department stores must display products like toys and toothbrushes in gender-neutral ways.

Thinking Graycliff....I got a fiver a while back of a three wrapper cigar, Habano, Maduro and Connie.  Got it for my son hoping that it would offer a nice comparison of the wrappers and it really did.  Haven't been able to find it since.  Oops, spoke to soon.  It was on the Page.

From SBC:

Freud Agape
Agape is here! This limited-edition Dominican puro is the first cigar to be crafted at Eladio Diaz's new factory in the Dominican Republic! "This is a balanced, subtle, and harmonious cigar. One that's sure to surprise and delight." - Eladio Diaz

Cohiba Weller 2022
We just received our 2022 allotment of The Weller by Cohiba! These exciting cigars are individually packaged in tubos and feature tobacco that has been aged in Batch #1343 of Weller Bourbon barrels

Alfonso
Nelson Alfonso's signature creation is here! Each Alfonso has been aged for five years with the perfect combination of french oak and cedar to create a luxurious, vintage experience right out of the box. Production is extremely limited in 2022 to just 5,000 cigars per size from 2017 vintage.

Arturo Fuente Sharky Sampler
This limited sampler features an amazing assortment of Sharks as well as many sought after releases!

Plasencia Cigars
We're excited to be able to offer you Plasencia Cigars! This incredible family is one of (if not THE) largest tobacco growers in the world, and only a handful of years ago launched their own premium cigar line of exceptional Nicaraguan puros

Cavalier Geneve Prospektor
Prospektor is back! This hard hitting barbel pole is now a regular production blend by popular demand, and includes Paraguayan tobaccos

Room101 12th Anniversary Perfecto
Room101 has just released their 12th Anniversary blend in a gorgeous perfecto! This 6 x 56 figurardo serves the blend well, allowing for multiple flavor transitions as the cigar opens up and takes charge. This Maduro is a distinct contradiction to the 10th Anniversary's easy-going charms

Dunbarton Mi Querida Sakakahn
Sakakahn or the "Mi Querida Black" has been restocked! Weighing in at 7 1/4 x 54, this limited edition Broadleaf flavor bomb is a must try

Cavalier Geneve Limited Edition 2022
Every year, Cavalier Geneve blesses us with a limited edition that's short on details but big on flavor! This year is no exception, and the cigar comes in a 6 x 54 box-pressed format that feels nostalgic in the hands but exotic on the palate

Allegria by Illusione
Allegria is a sister brand to OneOff, once again revitalized by Dion Giolito! Allegria remains a Nicaraguan puro and is crafted at Aganorsa Leaf just like OneOff

OneOff +53 Gordo
OneOff +53 has always been a special blend as a 5 3/4 x 48 Super Robusto, and it just now received a new 6 x 56 option! This Nicaraguan puro has received the designation of +53 from Dion Giolito, the Cuban area code

Cavalier Geneve Inner Circle
Inner Circle once again makes use of Jalapa tobaccos from Nicaragua, in this case we're talking about an Habano wrapper! This gorgeous wrapper leaf encases a binder from Honduras with filler tobaccos from Nicaragua (Jalapa), Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Pennsylvania.

Interesting but tough to keep up. I'm glad the Esteli puro is a regular release.
Yes, indeed, a favorite of mine.

Might be a bit biased, but I think our radio guy is the best in the biz.

Whomp whomp, I don't have Facebook.
My bad, thought it would work without a log in.
Sent it to my wife and she didn't click the link yet. Apparently she's busy.
Lol, she just doesn't want to fall for your Nigerian scams.
I'm still waiting.
Found a non-FB friendly version.

Much appreciated.

Yeah, you're biased. John Sterling in New York is better.
Alright it's set. Let's go Yankees.
I hope Seattle beats Houston. Did you see that crazy collision in Blue Jays game?
They have to finish off Toronto first. Houston definitely is the team to beat however.
They did
Go Mariners!
