Last day of the month.  Let's hope there are some cigar deals on the various internet sites that are worth talking about? Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour a drink and welcome aboard!

Jury Duty
-------------------------

As a court clerk, I am well-versed in the jury-selection process. First a computer randomly selects a few hundred citizens from the entire county to report for jury duty on a particular day. Then another computer assigns 40 of those present to a courtroom. Then the 40 names are placed in a drum, and a dozen names are pulled.
During jury selection for one trial, the judge asked potential Juror No. 12 if there was any reason he could not be a fair and impartial juror.

"There may be," he replied. "Juror No. 1 is my ex-wife, and if we were on the same jury, I guarantee we would not be able to agree on anything."

Both were excused.

I agree, been turned down from a lot of rentals and 55+ parks because I enjoy an occassional cigar even though I try to explain I refuse to smoke indoors. not sure whether it's the health concerns of if they've been burned on clean up when vacated. I know smoking will damage a property inside, but I just shrug my shoulders and walk away.

Its a good thing that most of us are up in our years now and the changes won't matter but a really don't like to think about the world our grandchildren will grow up in without any rights, we already yearn for the good old days so I can only imagine how badly they will be looking back at history and ask wtf happened.

Amen, man I could not believe it when I read in the news that New Orleans outlawed smoking.  But I remember the big international cigar retailers show was there a few years ago and they were discussing not returning because almost no places would allow folks a cigar.  Honestly Though this entire country has gone bat-shit crazy.

Indeed!!!!   As I watch the news I almost daily get a happening now reminder of something my dad said was coming our way in this country by way of our own people and government.  He would be 101 years old in May and died 11 years ago and pretty accurately what was happening today.

I'm always a little surprised that we're still able to smoke at the resort where CF is held. The field house we use is right off the arcade where the resort guests can play. Always figure someone will bitch and ruin our fun.

For sure has to be threatened.  Other than a couple of B&M's I do not think there is a public place in this entire county of 1.2 million people where you can gather for a cigar.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami Gardens Police Chief Stephen Johnson was taken into custody Friday for allegedly soliciting a prostitute during a sting operation at a Dania Beach motel, an arrest that has cost the embattled law enforcer his job.

Authorities said Broward Sheriff's Office deputies took Johnson into custody during the operation. He was booked into the Broward County Jail on $300 bond.

Miami Gardens Police officials released a statement Friday night which reads, "We recently learned Chief Johnson has been arrested for the solicitation of a prostitute. As a result, Mr. Johnson's employment with the City of Miami Gardens has been terminated, effective immediately. Assistant Chief Antonio Brooklyn will serve as the interim chief of police until further notice."

Weekend Spotlight Deal????

CI has been down most of the morning but came up and This has to be the worst ever but now I am wondering how low they can go.

I can just hear it now...the deafening cheers for Cuban Honeys. "Cu-ban Hon-eys, Cu-ban Hon-eys!" I'm telling you, you're going to be a fan in a very big way...

21 Options and here is one of those options:

Country Gentleman: Made with an intoxicating blend of ground vanilla bean mixed with a combination of tropical fruits. To top off the mix, a dash of Bourbon is added.

What a cluster fuk that was, must be working with CI.   NASCAR went to shit about 15 years ago and has continued downhill ever since and the empty seats prove it but the bastards are politically correct now.  Had to be at least 10-15 thousand seats at Daytona.

I will lay in the bed watching TV while feeling sorry for you. ;)

I must be too early, no line, no nobody.
I beat the rush and I am first candidate, lady is nice, waiting for the key.
she said it is mostly furnished but needs a mattress for the master bedroom. everything is month to month. she just ran to Dollar General for some supplies. sheesh.
I move into a 3 bedroom mobile home Monday. $625 a month plus I have to call for electric in my name, furnished with everything I need, they are removing 1 bed so I'll have a den.

I move into a 3 bedroom mobile home Monday. $625 a month plus I have to call for electric in my name, furnished with everything I need, they are removing 1 bed so I'll have a den.
HP be working OT
my faith in God is strong. I knew everything would work out, but you have no idea how relieved I am right now.
Oh yeah I do know how relieved you have to be!!!!   But where is it????????
about 7 miles down the road. town of Inglis. there are 3 parks, I have access to a boat ramp, docks, and fishing at the one on the water a mile away. one I'm in has pool, clubhouse, laundry, etc but mobile homes. the one on the water is a crowded rv park.
That's good news, Dean.  Happy for ya.
I would have liked to have signed a lease agreement but they only do month to month. it'll work out. this landlady doesn't have huge tits, but does live on site.
Just mind your own business, keep your eyes to yourself and shop for pussy in a different neighborhood. :)

EPC La Historia: The cut makes a differencewith this one. Initially just took a bit off the end and all I got was pepper. Hit it with the V and it's another cigar. Draw is wide open and loads of smoke. The first third has been nothing special good draw clean finish a light loose grey ash The flavors are basic with a bit of pepper on the finish. The cigar smokes quickly even though I'm trying to smoke slowly. The second third is making the transition the retro gives me a delicious roasted cashew and toffee, not exactly what I was expecting at this point. it's yet another example of the written description not translating to my palate I'm trying to get coffee and cocoa flavors as described however I get more of a bitter stone fruit and a hint of deep espresso on the late finish. I continue to get rich tobacco flavors nothing stands out distinctly. The final third seems to be a continuation of the same just more tobacco earth a slight bitterness on the draw. As I remove the second band the cigars becoming a bit monotonous nothing unpleasant but it's just more cowbell. My final thought are that its a decent cigar, just not what I was expecting. Taking the hype and cost, I'd give this cigar an 8 at best. I'll let the others rest and see if time helps them develop. I enjoyed the Buenaventura 560 and the Illusione Fume D Amor much more. I'd advise BOTL's to save your money on this one.

Must say I had a very different experience.  Loved it.

Oh Great, another Will, selling cigars  and posting 3 page reviews with his complimentary advice included...... If you only smoked the one how do you know the cut makes a difference in this one?  I am just a simple country boy so wtf does a cowbell have to do with a cigar?

nice review, liked the pictures. I don't have a V cutter but the few I've smoked I use a cutter on some and a punch on the others. didn't notice any differences though and enjoyed them all.

Thanks for letting us use your place, Tony.  Your a good BotL.
Spread the word, that's what it's here for.  Good evening, Dave.
Good evening to you, Sir Antnee! All is well, I hope!

Relatively, I shouldn't complain.  But when I don't complain, I don't say anything at all.  It's what I'm good at.
We're all here for a reason.

Good evening, gents.  Looking forward to Monday when I can get some rest.

Evening Sir Antnee, Earl of Eggplant Parmesan!  Herrera Estell fired up here.  Finally finished up Caimon's project.  Believe me, I pounded it into his skull never to leave things until the last minute.  Don't know if it did any good though.
That was cool of you to help him out.  What was it?

He's a straight "A" student in the advanced classes.  He created a new board game based on chess, but with a different board and different pieces.  I cut a piece of plywood for him to make the board (different # of squares than a chess board) and I made the "chess pieces" out of walnut sheet and pine dowels.  He thinks kids his age spend too much time on electronic devices, and wanted to come up with a modern board game.  The project is due Monday.  But he had the assignment months ago.  Kids today!!!

No, not yet.  He fell asleep before he could tell me how to play the game.
