Brrrrr! It's getting cold out there. At least there are warm cigar deals on the various internet sites that will help us get through it. Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something about cigars along the way. Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike. Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin. If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour a Hot Toddy and welcome aboard!

Pull on it
-------------------------
This preacher was looking for a good used lawnmower one day. He found one
at a yard sale that Little Johnny happened to be manning.
"This mower work, son?" the preacher asked.
Little Johnny said, "Sure does -- just pull on the cord hard, though."
The preacher took the mower home and when he got ready to mow he yanked
and pulled and tugged on that cord. Nothing worked. It wouldn't start.
Thinking he'd been swindled, he took the mower back to Little Johnny's
house. "You said this would work if I pulled on the cord hard enough."
"Well," Johnny said, "you need to curse at it sometimes."
The preacher was aghast. "I've not done that in years!"
"Just keep yanking on that cord, Preacher. It'll come back to you."

Sometimes the warden has other ideas about that though, I didnt plan to do much this week and already ahead of schedule so I have that going for me. Only real chore I have left is a Christmas present for the misses and her sister since I got their birthday shopping done already. This online shopping thing over the Internet might actually catch on one day.

Changing subjects, while I am not at all surprised at the Heisman winner I sure don't like the choice. Need to just change the name to Quaterback of the Year Award as that seems to be the only way to win anymore.

Busy Sunday ahead for us, brunch with In-laws at 11:30 then all of us going to the Boy's graduation at 2 then some finishing packing at his apartment before the movers come at 10:30 in the morning.

At some point those will hopefully be fit in bit we had them on Fiday just in case knowing how hectic things would get today. As to whiskey Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's are an integral part of the Brunches down here!

LOL that is a High Tone List of great places but there are plenty more in this City. Red Drum is about 3 minutes away, had my birthday dinner there last year. Hominy Grill was a top choice but we got 9 people and they don't take reservations for brunch meaning we would be in line for 2 hours which is not my style. We are eting in the City at Poogan's Porch which will let us park one time then walk to the graduation. Lesser known but Poogan's every bit as good, photo below.

No complaints. The coach had some nice words for my daughter and brunch was tasty. Christmas lights are all fixed. Crossing my fingers that everything will light properly at dusk. Just found out a family friend passed away so I just added a wake to my to-do list. Aunt Millie will be missed.
