Brrrrr!  It's getting cold out there.  Or maybe you just feel like you're getting the cold shoulder?  Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something about cigars along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour some eggnog and welcome aboard!

-------------------
Stiff Neck
-------------------------

A five year old boy comes to visit his grandparents and notices his grandfather sitting on the porch, in the rocker, wearing only a shirt, naked from the waist down.
"Grandpa, whatcha' doing? You're weenie's out and everybody can see!" he exclaimed.

Grandpa looked off in the distance, not answering.

"Grandpa, whatcha' doin' sitting out here with no pants on?" he asked again.

Grandpa looked at him and said, "Son, last week I sat here with no shirt on,
Just watching the cars go by.... and I got a stiff neck.
This is your Grandma's idea."

Q: Why is Christmas just like your job?
A: You do all the work and the fat guy with the suit gets all the credit.

Q: Why is Santa so jolly?
A: Because he knows where all the naughty girls live.

The Night Santa Went Crazy"

Down in the workshop all the elves were makin' toys
For the good Gentile girls and the good Gentile boys
When the boss busted in, nearly scared 'em half to death
Had a rifle in his hands and cheap whiskey on his breath
From his beard to his boots he was covered with ammo
Like a big fat drunk disgruntled Yuletide Rambo
And he smiled as he said with a twinkle in his eye,
"Merry Christmas to all - now you're all gonna die!"

The night Santa went crazy
The night St. Nick went insane
Realized he'd been gettin' a raw deal
Something finally must have snapped in his brain

Well, the workshop is gone now, he decided to bomb it
Everywhere you'll find pieces of Cupid and Comet
And he tied up his helpers and he held the elves hostage
And he ground up poor Rudolph into reindeer sausage
He got Dancer and Prancer with an old German Luger
And he slashed up Dasher just like Freddy Krueger
And he picked up a flamethrower and he barbequed Blitzen
And he took a big bite and said, "It tastes just like chicken!"

The night Santa went crazy
The night Kris Kringle went nuts
Now you can't hardly walk around the North Pole
Without steppin' in reindeer guts

There's the National Guard and the F.B.I.
There's a van from the Eyewitness News
And helicopters circlin' 'round in the sky
And the bullets are flyin', the body count's risin'
And everyone's dyin' to know, oh Santa, why?
My my my my my my
You used to be such a jolly guy

Yes, Virginia, now Santa's doin' time
In a federal prison for his infamous crime
Hey, little friend, now don't you cry no more tears
He'll be out with good behavior in 700 more years
But now Vixen's in therapy and Donner's still nervous
And the elves all got jobs working for the postal service
And they say Mrs. Clause, she's on the phone every night
With her lawyer negotiating the movie rights

They're talkin' bout - the night Santa went crazy
The night St. Nicholas flipped
Broke his back for some milk and cookies
Sounds to me like he was tired of gettin' gypped

Wo, the night Santa went crazy
The night St. Nick went insane
Realized he's gettin' a raw deal
Something finally must have snapped in his brain
Wo, something finally must have snapped in his brain
Tell ya, something finally must have snapped... in his brain

I was in a place last week and the lady running it had no idea what she was talking about.  Most of what they had was ordered from CI; diesels, 5Vegas and such.  The place wasn't even properly humidified.  Ya gotta wonder how those places survive.  But there are others, especially in Florida, so you'll find something.

quite a ways Mark, but I have their website bookmarked. I have a stop planned. so much to see in Florida, so little time.
I hear you, FL is a big state.  I was in Tampa about a year ago on business and stopped into TH, bought a few sticks, and really liked the place in general.  Nice large smoking lounge and friendly folks.
Stopped by there once.  Thought it was nice.  Big lounge, nice bar, barista.  Then went to the CI Hamburg store.  About four times the size.  No barista though.  Howdy Bean.  Howdy Dean.

I never mentioned I stopped at 2 B&M's here a couple of times. didn't terribly mind the elevated prices but both places are cold, the people anyway. they just sit and smoke. tried striking up conversations a few times but I felt I had been shunned. thing is they are in two different towns but I swear the same people are in both places. one employee knows nothing about cigars or even cares.
Dean, how far are you from Tampa?  TH is a first class operation.

google maps says a little over an hour and a half. with the snowbirds more like three hours.
:)
It's kinda tucked into to Tampa in otherwise it ain't just off a exit.

True that.  And a lot of freeway construction in the area at the time.  Would have been tough to find without GPS.  Howdy Mike.

I'll have a chance to make that pilgrimage in 2015 due to work north of Philly coming up.  And CF as well if I play my cards right.  Woohoo!

Lots of stop lights that is for sure.  Warden was giving me the stinkeye by the time we got there.

Nah, just typical Sunday banter.
