Good morning guys. Not in the outside shower yet. Just made coffee. Watching the sunrise and smoking an EPC 2nd corona. Hope the redhead has a better day today than yesterday. She was kind of miserable on the way up, couldn't wait to get here, and when she did she doesn't seem to like the BnB thing. Guess she wanted more privacy than staying in someone elses house. Going to hit the island after breakfast. Got a feeling the heat is going to make her sick today.I am 90% with red on this one and would be 100 % but she lost 10 points because she actually went to try it. I don't want strangers in my house and I am sure not going to stay in some strangers house. Entire Air BnB concept gives me the creeps.
Nice hotel, lodge or private rental otherwise stay at home is my standard.

Not for those sitting near the microwave.I got some shrimp in lobster sauce over pork fried rice in the fridge, here at work.I have a feeling I might be bad this evening so I'll stick to my usual lunchtime salad. It seems so damn far away though.Pork Roll, egg and cheese lull?I'm starving.

Warden turned in her official retirement notice Monday and first thing this morning they offered her a very significant additional cash bonus to stay 7 months, FMTT's, damn decisions! But this one is all on her as I am moving in early September either way.If she can get significant additional cash, a drop dead date of 7 months, a couple of additional weeks of vacay (to help with the move) and have them pick up the cost of temporary lodging....why not?
I was well prepared for this to occur.
...and as was said, this will give you time to quietly settle into retirement at your own pace.
On the down side, her arrival in 7 months will be an even bigger shock to the system...and she may be driven crazy (crazier) by them riding her for an additional 7 months.

I am at a little Cuban sandwich shop in East Austin and if someone blindfolded me and brought me in here I would swear I was in Cuba for lunch.I had my first Cuban sandwich (in your honor) while on my motorcycle trip in July. I guess they aren't to my taste. Seemed kinda bland to me. Of course, family would tell you that's par for the course with me. I like lots of seasoning and spices. I probably have fewer taste buds than others, or something.

not even worth trying. I'll probably let her take the truck tomorrow to hit thrift stores.
