Happy 4th of July!  Today, let's enjoy our families, cookouts, libations and cigars too.  We bitch and moan about cigar deals, commies, and even each other.  But thank goodness we get to bitch and moan because we're free to do so in this country.

The Magnum Dog is always happy on the 4th of Juky because he loves the smell of BBQ !

Smoking some wings and venison sausage today with potato salad, beans and French bread on the side.  My normal fare of pork ribs is out this year due to dental issues. :(

Made waffles out of almond meal and they were actually very good. Heading to a friend's shortly for some grilled meats and I don't have to host. Win/win.

Waffles and bacon sheesh.
I may have to bust out the waffle maker. That sounds yummy.
I did simple, corned beef hash, poached eggs, toast, and coffee.
Had a similar brunch before sending the boy off.... except for eggs over easy and grits.
You got enough cigars left to get through the day?
Trying to squeak by.

Moving right along.  Son Tim has made his move to Minneapolis to be an Army ROTC professor at the University of Minnesota.  Got to enjoy a couple of fireworks shows last night without leaving our front yard. Puffing on La Palina Red Label toro.  You enjoying the quiet after the storm?
