Ta da! I give you the state with third highest "sin taxes" in the country...behind only Alaska and Hawaii...it's my home state of Soviet Washington. Tobacco tax of $3.03 per pack, liquor taxes of $14.24 per gallon, wine tax of $0.87 per gallon,  beer tax of $0.26 per gallon, and sales tax of 6.50%.

I only wish it were so. When you add on the local taxes, the.sales tax is 9.50% just about everywhere.

One of my son's best friends from Law School called and his dad had a heart attack yesterday afternoon and dropped dead on the spot at age 57.  Sheesh!!!!  Better retire while I still can, he was a Realtor in Hilton Head and was supposed to show us some properties in May.

Had time for a quick smoke on the way home so I went with AVO XO corona. Perhaps it had more to do with all the wind we're getting but I found it to be just meh. Very well made but I generally don't enjoy the Davidoff flavors.
