She used to get steroid shots to help, but she couldn't do that for awhile because of all the testing they were doing trying to figure out her other problems. Well, testing hasn't gone anywhere lately, so she's getting another round of the shots in her back this afternoon. So I revisited the Tatuaje Tattoo last night, my second since buying a couple whenever they were released. I thought it showed improvement and wasn't quite as bitter as the first one I'd had, but it's still nothing special. Mostly cedar and pepper, still a bit rough around the edges. Leaving for Naples, FL on Friday, will be interesting to shop for beer down there after another year of drinking. I liked the Jai Alai IPA that I got from Cigar City Brewing when I was there... it was the only non-California IPA I've had and really enjoyed. We're spoiled out here with the IPAs.

Couple beers this weekend... Lost Abbey Serpent's Stout. 11% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Had a weird metallic taste. Wouldn't buy again. Also had a Victory at Sea, which still stands at the top of my list. It's the best.

You can do a lot better at that price point online, though. I will keep an eye out. I've definitely seen the Lagunitas. I'm not necessarily a coffee fan, but it seems to be the common pairing with the chocolates. I find myself liking more of the Milk stouts more than others.
