a lot of upset locals here too, and the Trump supporters gloating doesn't help.
And I thought it was the Democrats warning about the Republicans being sore loosers a couple of days ago and saying how they need to take the high road and accept the voice of the people.... ???

Well, if I was allowed to answer, I'd say it makes the blade less likely to break when chopping, and potentially improves the ergonomics. But I'm not supposed to answer.
