How goes it, Scott? What's going to be your first cigar back after the test?

For all the Earnest Hemingway Buffs (if there are any around here besides me)

Papa: Hemingway In Cuba (2015)

The biopic was the first film shot in Cuba in over 50 years.

The legendary Ernest Hemingway was on-hand, as a journalist, covering many of the 20th century's biggest events: World War I, World War II, and the Spanish Civil War. He was also present in Havana for the Cuban Revolution.

The new biopic "Papa: Hemingway in Cuba" traces some of his time there, with a particular focus on his friendship with Denne Bart Petitclerc (Giovanni Ribisi). In this exclusive sneak peek, Hemingway (Adrian Sparks), known affectionately as Papa, apologizes for rambling to his new acquaintance.

"You're among friends here," Petitclerc assures him.

And then Hemingway asks him to choose a number between one and 10. When Petitclerc picks the number six, Hemingway starts scratching away with a pen and paper. The results prove that the famous writer never needed an excess of words to get a point across.

"Papa: Hemingway in Cuba" opens in AMC theaters April 29th

Also you can watch it free online now:

I thought Travellin Dave might be absent since he was Travellin overseas and  late posting.

I swear I am going to include a Fuk'n sound-proof hair drying room in the retirement home.
You retire from work, not from your spouse
Quite the contrary, in fact.
Dyson makes fabulous vacuum cleaners that  are only about half as noisy as most others so WTF can't they make a damn hair dryer too?  Just like vacuums, every house has at least one.
Sounds like a good retirement pursuit.  Necessity is the mother of...etc.

Morning Mr. Mayor. One would think the Daves would be better coordinated.  Sheesh.

Looks like the hopeful retirement boat and associated weekend "no warden included" trip to South Padre Island is a no-go.

Talked to the guy last night and nice guy but too many conflicts in his assessment along with saying he has to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday so can only show it Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday which is probably true but he is not too anxious to sell it.

Asked him to confirm the advertised engine hours were a total of 300 and not 300 after a rebuild or something.  Answer:  well the hours are actually closer to 450.

Seems like somebody besides the Travellin Dave and I would pitch in around here once in a while.

He was only off by 50%, no big deal.
