Speaking of boiling, or not boiling, in this case, the flame sensor on my boiler seems to be having fits. I've cleaned it a couple of times, but sometimes it'll kick off the flame before going through the whole cycle. Might have to get someone out her to take a look at it. Argh.
After they recently installed mine, I had our gas company come do an inspection. They found that the burners weren't all pointing in the same direction, which could cause carbon build-up and misfiring. It is apparently pretty typical for these burners to move during shipping, and installers don't think to go under and look. I'll try to see if I can find photos to illustrate what I'm saying.
Hmm, interesting. They've been out before and cleaned the sensor since they installed it and it worked for a year and a half since then, so I think everything is pointing in the right direction. But I need to know how or what they clean it with, because I can't ever seem to replicate their results. Next time they come out, I'm gonna be watching the guy like a hawk to see what he does. Lol
I'm not sure this will be clear, but these are the before photos.

After...

Oh yeah, that one was way out of alignment. Crazy that the installer wouldn't be thorough enough to have noticed initially.

Went to go fill up my wife's car with gas and the windows are frozen shut.
You shouldn't put gas in through the windows anyway.
Now you tell me.  :D

Good morning, GassyDave.

Ten.

I would have known Kevin Rahm's and Dustin Diamond's faces, but not names.  That's kinda backwards.  Usually I recognize the name but not the face.

So...did we start a DEI initiative for Page 3?

I suppose Kenny Loggins is a worthy choice.  My first rock concert was Loggins & Messina, in 1974.
