LMAO!  I think I saw Tony do that to someone at the CI Herf House.
...While cooking their food.
I thought my burger tasted a little musky, but I didn't want to complain.

Ok offering at the Page.  Only 8 "sold out" out of the gate.
If you haven't tried them, I think the La Boheme is a nice cigar.

Oh you know I am just one to always maintain a positive outlook and there were a few other incidentals (rear that needed some work but no big deal it is just money and Mr Obama  will give me some more) Rear Pistons leaking, new front rotors, old ones too thin to turn and lower ball joints tired which I was suspect of.

Raz and Dad might need to put on their mittens and toboggan hats to watch this game on TV.

Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings Sunday, Jan. 10, at 1:05 p.m. EST

For the first time since 1976, an NFL playoff game will be played outdoors in Minneapolis as the Seahawks (10-6) travel to Minnesota for the second time in a month to play the Vikings (11-5).

This is the second consecutive year the Vikings are playing at TCF Bank Stadium, the home to the University of Minnesota's football team, while their new stadium is under construction. On Sunday, fans and players may long for the comforts of the Vikings old indoor stadium, the Metrodome, where they played from 1982-2013.

"It is going to be brutally cold," Feerick said. "Temperatures at kickoff are likely to be in the low single digits at best."

Some sunshine is in the offing for the game, but will be ineffective. AccuWeather ReelFeel® Temperatures could reach as low as 20 below zero. The frigid weather may make it rank as one of the coldest NFL games in history and the coldest ever for the Seattle Seahawks, according to the Seattle Times. Fans will need to wear many layers and pack hand and foot warmers.

"Frostbite will occur quickly to any exposed skin and both fans and players will have to prepare accordingly," Feerick said. "A wind gusting to 20 mph out of the west also could impact the kicking game."

In 1982, American Telephone and Telegraph settled the Justice Department's antitrust lawsuit against it by agreeing to divest itself of the 22 Bell System companies.
I was caught up in this one.  I was put on an inventory project that lasted almost a year.  Going to each AT&T and Southwestern Bell office from St. Louis, through Northern Missouri, then back down around the Lake of the Ozark and back.  Actually it was a nice job with a company car, clip board, expense vouchers, corporate discounts at motels, and no supervisors.

I guess if I could have afforded one of those new IBM Personal Computer 286's for around $3,000, it's may have been easier. But a clip board was allot lighter and only required a pencil compared to those expensive 5 1/4 floppy disk.

I built a 286 with two 5 1/4" floppies and no hard drive back in the fall of 1990. And it wasn't my first PC.

You wish you had a 5 1/4 floppy... TWSS

Good afternoon boys and girls.

Hey, Dad. Did Kenneth get you anything for Christmas, or just the usual grocery list. Oh, and did Miss Clause come to your house for a late night visit?
Well, being as he still has his October picture up, looks like he missed out on the Mrs. Claus visit.
Somehow, I think that's better for all of us.

Move where the job is offered.  Not a whole lot of genetics/biotech in the South.  Pretty much you have NJ/PA, Boston or West Coast.

And I say, "Well, you sure knew what you were taking about 43 years ago..."  Now all you have to do is put in 20 more years, and you can retire at 82...!

No gifts from Kenneth, but I didn't send him anything either.  I sort of like to keep that distance between us.  The wife had to work on Christmas, so I guess her gift to me was double time and a half... :)  You'd think I'd feel bad about her working on the holidays, but if she would have gotten a job like I asked her 43 years ago, we'd both have big pensions, big fat 401k's, and we could have been retired at the same time.  But Noooooo, she said, "I'm too stupid to work at a major corporation.."  And refused to get a job.  Now 33 years later, she get's a job at a corporation and says, "Ya know, those people are really stupid..!" And I say, "Well, you sure knew what you were taking about 43 years ago..."  Now all you have to do is put in 20 more years, and you can retire at 82...!

82 is the new 65. Feel like I couldn't even stop at this point. Probably be digging my own grave... at minimum wage... as a 2nd job.

Thanks, Obama!

Boy #1 has an interview in Maryland today, should hear from him after 4 or so on how it went.  Fingers crossed for him.

This the one who asked about how the lottery tickets worked?
Nope, that's the younger one.

...and it's the youngest boy at UGA and a daughter at Clemson? Guess the elder son has already graduated?
Oldest son finishing PhD at Georgia (28), daughter (26) gainfully employed at Johns Hopkins, preparing to go back to school but on her own dime.  Youngest (20) junior year in ME at Clemson.

Not sure if I'm going with that one or a Matilde Oscuro Corona.
Like that one as well.  Did I give you both or just the Matilde?
I bought the La Boheme. You gifted me the Matilde.
That's right, without coordinating, we both bought La Boheme's that night in Somerville.

"Affluenza" mom doesn't like jail conditions....forgot to ask for the upgrade I guess.

"Couch, 48, who appeared in a yellow jail jumpsuit Friday, was arraigned on a charge of hindering apprehension of a fugitive. She told the judge she understood the charges against her.

Her bond is set at $1 million; a bond reduction hearing is set for Monday.

After the arraignment, which lasted less than 10 minutes, Tarrant County Sheriff Dee Anderson said that Couch has complained about jail conditions, saying it was too bright to sleep.

Anderson said he told her, "It's a jail, not a resort.""

Whoa! A clipboard?
I guess if I could have afforded one of those new IBM Personal Computer 286's for around $3,000, it's may have been easier. But a clip board was allot lighter and only required a pencil compared to those expensive 5 1/4 floppy disk.
I built a 286 with two 5 1/4" floppies and no hard drive back in the fall of 1990. And it wasn't my first PC.
I waited till 486 days, to build my first computer.  Winchester disk drive, 5 1/4 floppy and 3.5 inch not so floppy drive.  my last build was a windows 7 (upgrades to Window 10 64bit) with 16GB memory Raid 1 1TB system drives and a 2 TB data disk, got another 1TB fast USB external dive for moving files tween computers.  I learned my early adopter lesson with a $345 HP 45 Advanced Scientific calculator in 1974 on the way to college.

You gotta be close to picking out a road smoke, Sam. What cha got?
Murcielago to end the work week with.  almost went with a GH #5 Corojo, but decided to take that home and smoke it this weekend sometime with a glass of scotch.  something about the corojo flavor and a good single malt.
Old or new Murcielago?
Who's tried the new?

...or some strange? Where's Deano been?
golfing right, Deano likes golfing and sheet surfing!  8)

and EPC 2nds... and coffee... and heart shaped pancakes... and early morning kayaking... and
Add strawberry to those heart shaped pancakes

Not I, but I have talked with a few folks who say it tastes like a generic Espinosa.  "Reverse engineering" didn't quite hit it.
That's what I was afraid of, they're starting to show up on the bid site so I was curious what they were worth. His stuff typically ages well
I only have old ones, made a significant purchase at a close out sale cause I likes them a lot.

Boy #1 has an interview in Maryland today, should hear from him after 4 or so on how it went.  Fingers crossed for him.
where in MD?
He was in Frederick
Definitely an up and coming city in MD.  a lot of businesses seem to be locating there.  He should make sure of where he lands for housing as commute times from certain areas there are brutal.
You mean just like the rest of us?  lol
We'll put first things first and see if he gets an offer.
Good Luck to him !!!

The Roberto P. Duran Signature Series with the Ecuador Habano Criollo wrapper is a nice cigar. A little spicy and tons of nuttiness. The one I'm smoking is a 6x56. Planning to buy more of these.

Medium bodied with full flavor.

Former St. Louis Cardinals scouting director Chris Correa pleaded guilty to five counts of unauthorized access into the Astros’ computer system.

Correa appeared before U.S. Magistrate Mary Milloy and made his plea later before U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes.

Each conviction of unauthorized access of a protected computer carries a maximum possible sentence of five years in federal prison and a possible $250,000 fine. Correa will pay $275,000 in restitution as well.

The value of the information that Correa gained unauthorized access has been set at $1.7 million. Federal attorneys said they came to the $1.7 million figure based on the Astros’ scouting budget and the number of players included in the database.

“Yes, your honor, I accept responsibility for my mistakes,” Correa told Judge Hughes.

Correa said he trespassed on the Astros system based on suspicion thate the Astros had unauthorized Cardinals data.

I unfortunately had to put the cigar out with about 30 minutes (1.75 inches) left to it. Unfortunately my bladder wasn't gonna wait another half hour.

I'm curious what you think of the Darumas
Never had but 1 a while back and it was pretty fresh but good.  Box was $120 FS.
They're on clearance at Atlantic, really low but the mutantes are gone except 5-packs
The PCs are $120/50, roxxos are below $80

Good prices for what they usually ask. Haven't had a Darumas though. Namakubis or Masters Collection... I'm in.
Daruma Gold are good, but stay away from Daruma unless you like Davidoff.  Namakubi are a great but very stout smoke.  MC's 1-3 are all solid.

Just got back from walking Nacho with a 3 Reynas corona, they get better the longer they sit, very good right now after a year or so
How many  boxes you have stocked?
I only bought 1 box, half left but cbid still has some
.Biz still has some Robusto's, $60 I think.

If you can find them, San Andreas and HN are great.  Connecticut are also superior.

213C's on discontinued sale at .Biz but I am just not much of a Connie fan generally speaking but I picked up a box of regular 213's earlier.

Mail lady overwhelmed me with brown boxes today!

Btw, Wha'd ya git?
Box of Room 101 Daruma Lancero
Box of SL Oval Habano Corona
Mazo  of SL Oval Maduro
10 Partagas Black Label Corona
10 San Cristobal Elegancia Corona
Box (10) Buena Vista ::)
Daruma or Daruma Gold?
Cheaper ones, Gold
While not my favorite Room 101, Gold are far better than the Daruma.  To me they taste like mushroom/mold.  My least favorite Room 101.
Sounds like me and Buesos but the one I had (gold) was a little bit earthy but not extreme like a worm dirt Bueso.
Definitely don't try a regular Daruma then.

Connecticut are available on CI clearance.  Using 20% makes them a solid deal.

The new Room 101 release, Johnny Tobacconaut is a nice understated cigar.  Rather pricy however, think Matt is getting a little full of himself.

Yeah they are real pricey but I am watching for a deal when the new wears off.  There are some mighty fine smokes in that price range.

Still on my list. Have been meaning to get a couple at the B&M, but have been watching the rare showings on the bid 5ers...

Not really, they're $80 but you have to hit $100 for the 20% so the add needs to be good for the deal to work. The MF LBs would have worked but I think I would have taken 20 LBs for $80

Very good selection, Buena Ventura, all of the Reserva Limitada, especially Cafe Noir, Seleccion Privada good, not crazy about Achilles or Gloria.
