Besides being beer day, I think it might be opening day
for zucchini season, Although I don't think the camouflage, is required
to sneak up on them.  I think he may have bagged a few over the limit

Thursday, Sep 7th, is National Beer Lovers Day.  Note it's Beer, not choco raspberry bubble gum kiddie flavor alcoholic carbonated beverage day.
Foo Foo beers!  Sheesh!
do they come with little pink umbrellas and fruit?
Not quite, but they are 7-10% alcohol!
And more artificial flavoring than a cherry Coke
Many of them have no artificial flavoring, but you're right, the ones that do taste like soda.

South Carolina governor declares state of emergency for Irma.
That is just a formality to be eligible for FEMA and other Federal assistance if needed, so did Georgia.

5:00 pm Irma Update
projected guesses show I'm safe, maybe winds 55-60 mph and storm surge, glad I'm a bit more inland and 32' above sea level.
Electric service would probably be your worst issue with the current projections
/Speaking from personal hurricane experience if there is no electricity there is no gas,no banks, no ice , no groceries and no traffic signals , It lasted for me two weeks in NC.

Evening Short Stack, absolutely correct just add no gasoline for generators other than what you have on hand and live power lines in the streets and yards.   It is very unpleasant!
