Gambling Problem
-------------------------

When I go to casinos, the most ridiculous sign I see is the one that says: "If you have a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER."

I thought about it for a moment and dialed the number. When they answered I said, "I have an ace and a six. The dealer has a seven. What do I do?"

Not a great deal but it is at least a decent cigar at a decent price, they could still do better though if they want more of our money.  The Sis's daily deals are a whole different story, I remember doing their COTM just to keep the 10% off in my pocket but it's been years now since I have even purchased a daily deal from them.

Can you believe Georgia went down again and the Sooners lost, Ohio and Alabama both should have lost their games, both teams ranked higher than they are playing.

You know I felt like TN had to win sooner or later as they are not that bad just could not figure out how to finish the game so that one was not a shocker to me.  Now OK yeah that one blew me away!  Ohio, well it has been a cakewalk for them all year and Arkansas is just bad and AL is not what we have gotten used to expecting.

My guess is GA lost Chub for the year and they are screwed anyway.

I was most startled by the lack of fans, noise and enthusiasm at the LSU game.  I can't believe the school did not do something to get tickets sold and fill that stadium.

I have made two purchases from the Sister this year, that operation has gone crazy and CI is not far behind.  Some good deals occasionally at Famous but you have to weed through their scams along the way, they used to be a very reputable place but not anymore.

It wasn't because they didn't try though, they were burning up the radio spots advertising the game, giving all the profits to Spurier didn't help that much since most people down here can't stand him still.

Yet they always whine and cry because they can't get tickets. ::)    Spurrier probably will not make the end of the season anyway.

Lots of pissed off Longhorns since they gave away their tickets and still had thousands of empty seats on their side while they sat in Austin.  To ice the cake Dish TV is fighting with the DFW area and Austin ABC local affiliates and chose to black out the game in their areas.

I anticipate the FDA is fixing to put the fuk on us anyway.  I have been stocking up for a year or so, probaly over 1000 cigars now.  Have my larger primary humidor and 4 overflow humi's including an igloo cooler I just converted last week.  Actual hoarding purpose is prep for retirement spending reductions.  Figure I will be able to smoke 3 years on what I got and will only need to fill in occasionally to extend that to 4 or 5 years.

Reason is, the state governments are suing them for the tobacco taxes they're not collecting (mostly on cigarettes).  So Fed-Ex caved right away.  I understand there are similar suits against UPS and USPS.

Shhhhhh!  You don't want to let them know we noticed.
Good Point
By the way, have you heard that Fed-Ex will no longer ship tobacco?  Not just to internet/mail-order customers but from the factories to the suppliers.  It's only a matter of time before UPS and USPS follow suit and then we're really fucked.
I have not heard that but why should I be surprised!   Interestingly Fed-Ex/Ground is the only one that will ship ammunition.
Not sure about that one either come 2016.
Maybe what I had heard was wrong.  I found this on the Fed-Ex website after some extensive digging:

Tobacco products will be accepted only when shipped from a licensed dealer or distributor
to another licensed dealer or distributor. The shipper is solely responsible for compliance
with any applicable regulations, which may vary from state to state.

Think I will mow the yard, mower is quieter than the warden plus I can piss the neighbors off mowing early on Sunday.  Why wait for Tuesday, Two-For-One Sunday!
Hmmm, I ought to head out to see if I can find a new spark plug for my mower.  Wish me luck.

Morning Travellin Dave.  Is it this week you are going to SC/GA for Family Time?
Yes, heading out Tuesday.
Good deal, Babies out of the hospital yet?
Actually got out of the hospital beginning of Sept.  Hannah unfortunately checked back in this week as she doesn't seem particularly interested in eating.  Hopefully home soon.

University of Texas at Austin students plan to carry dildos around campus next year in protest of recent legislation that allows concealed carry permit holders to carry their firearms to public colleges’ campuses.

According to a public Facebook event page, the students will wield their sex toys on August 24, 2016 — the first day of classes. The contentious legislation signed by Republican Gov. Greg Abbott in June is set to go into effect for the 2016 school year and allows individuals who possess a concealed carry permit to bring their firearms to campus although university presidents are able to make “reasonable” regulations.

“The State of Texas has decided that it is not at all obnoxious to allow deadly concealed weapons in classrooms, however it does have strict rules about free sexual expression, to protect your innocence,” the event description reads. “You would receive a citation for taking a dildo to class before you would get in trouble for taking a gun to class. Heaven forbid the penis.”

Doubt that USPS will turn down any business.  Guess we should stock up in any case!
Reason is, the state governments are suing them for the tobacco taxes they're not collecting (mostly on cigarettes).  So Fed-Ex caved right away.  I understand there are similar suits against UPS and USPS.
Why the hell should they be responsible for collecting taxes.  Shouldn't it be the sellers (if anybody)?

I wrote that awkwardly.  Sorry about that.  I meant that the states are pissed because people are ordering tobacco online and avoiding having to pay state and local taxes.  And since the shipping companies are enabling such behavior, they're getting sued.
