Brrrrr!  It's cold out there. It appears we'll be hard pressed to find any warm cigar deals on the various internet sites to help us get through it.  Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something about cigars along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour your favorite beverage and welcome aboard!

Health Care
-------------------------

INFORMATION YOU NEED TO HELP YOU CHOOSE YOUR NEXT HEALTH PLAN ..

Q. What does HMO stand for?

A. This is actually a variation of the phrase, "HEY MOE."
Its roots go back to a concept pioneered by Moe of the Three
Stooges, who discovered that a patient could be made to forget
about the pain in his foot if he was poked hard enough in the eyes.

Q. I just joined an HMO. How difficult will it be to choose the doctor
I want?

A. Just slightly more difficult than choosing your parents. Your
insurer will provide you with a book listing all the
doctors in the plan. These doctors basically fall into two
categories -- those who are no longer accepting new
patients, and those who will see you but are no longer
participating in the plan. But don't worry; the remaining
doctor who is still in the plan and accepting new patients has an
office just a half-day's drive away and has a
diploma from a Third World Country.

Q. Do all diagnostic procedures require pre-certification?

A. No. Only those you need.

Q. Can I get coverage for my preexisting conditions?

A  Certainly, as long as they don't require any treatment.

Q. What happens if I want to try alternative forms of medicine?

A. You'll need to find alternative forms of payment.

Q. My pharmacy plan only covers generic drugs, but I need the name
brand. I tried the Generic Medication, but it gave me a stomachache. What
should I do?

A. Poke yourself in the eye.

Q. What if I'm away from home and I get sick?

A. You really shouldn't do that.

Q. I think I need to see a specialist, but my doctor insists he can
handle my problem. Can a general practitioner really perform a
heart transplant right in his office?

A. Hard to say, but considering that all you're risking is the $15
co-payment,  there's no harm in giving him a shot at it.

Good morning guys. Having a difficult time getting motivated. Was going to do laundry and head for church but all I've done is make coffee and light a Griffin. I have a birthday party to go to at 1:30 for the grandson of that old beauty queen and I still have to get cleaned up, wrap presents, and pick up two other women. What's a guy to do?

54 ° and heading into the 70's.

Apparently I do.  I'm not very good at this landlording bullshit.  If that 2-family house wasn't under water, financially too, I would have gotten rid of it years ago.  I had a family not pay me for 6 months and I was finally able to evict them.  Now this guy gave me some sap story about his mother dying and having to pay for her funeral... He's 3 months behind already.  The paying tenant just told me that there is a party going on there since last night.  Wonder how much potential rent money that party cost.  I'm heading there now and throwing everyone out myself.

Started the morning with an Oval Connie, now on to a Camacho Havana finishing up the NY Times.

Good morning yet another Dave....  I believe the cigar talk seems to come and go with who ever seems to be on the banter at the time.  Personally I'm all ears to hear what everyone is smoking and the more details on how it smokes and transitions the better.  But I consider myselfe a newby with only purchasing my first sampler in 2011, and I also only smoke a few a week.  I wonder if that even qualifies me as a cigar smoker.. :)  Now others seem to smoke more than Mark Twain, lining up their daily cigars and give them names right before lighting them. Now, those are the guys that can talk about cigars.  Others seem to talk more about buying cigars than smoking them, which fills ya in on all the free codes, coupons, and great deals..!  As for myself, I can tell you a little about the last cigar I smoked, but more about my grandkids, food, and maybe some rare occational girl talk.  As far as I can tell, I seem to perfer the opposite cigars that everyone else likes. I guess that was due to my fondness for Swisher Sweets before stepping up to hand rolled cigars.  But I like what I like, try what I try, and I yam what I yam.  Holy Shamoley, and you know the rest of the story.  :)

To bad your state is so tough on tenant rights, kind of hard to get rid of the worthless ones quickly but landlords have the right to make changes to the property when they wish to without red tape, for pain in the ass tenants the landlords will just remove all exterior doors to force them to leave. It's legal down here and usually works within 24 hours.

You're probably safe.  Rarely appear on bid sites, and I can't remember the last time they were on a jam.  Regular prices aren't prohibitive luckily.  Atlantic with VIP they are $85 - 110/box, $25 -30 for a fiver.

Don't miss those bastiges at all.  As for a trip out east, either week of the 26th or week of the 2nd.  Will get that dialed in later this week.  What's your schedule like?
Quick trip to Athens GA Jan 29 returning the 2nd, so either week would be OK.

I was gonna start posting several times earlier and shit kept coming up.  Now, literally, shit is coming up at my other house and the non paying tenant is complaining.  I'm about to drive over there and kick his ass out the fucking door.  And then I suppose I need to find someone who will rooter the sewer pipe on a Sunday.  Fuck me!

You have your own DEADBEAT? nice!
Everyone should experience owning a couple of rental properties at some point in their lives.
The first thing I'll do when I can afford to is get rid of that piece of shit.  It's cutting into my cigar money for sure.
I know people who own property and love it.  I don't.  I didn't have the heart to throw him out on his ass after he told me his mother died.  These assclowns see me coming from miles away.  He promised me that he'd be out by the end if the month but I'm sending the warden to court tomorrow to get the eviction process started.  Unfortunately that means I'll have to take a day off later this month to go to court.  Whatever.  Everyone has their shit.  I'm just hoping it will happen on a warm enough day that I can get in a few cigars.
No business for someone with a soft heart.

Morning BD, Dave(s), Slumlord Tony.  At the orifice with a coffee and Oval.
Morning Mr. Vermouth.
Indeed.  My martini last night was outstanding, right down to the chilled glass.  One or two more and I'll be a f'n expert.
I really enjoyed mine too.  Every one has been a bit different than the previous one.  The next one will be less dirty.

Hey BD, have you tried the sprinter site?  Their offerings might be to your liking.
I haven't been on the sprinter for awhile.  But like you said, I might be better off staying away from there.  I've been buying for the past two weeks on Famous Auction, The Monster, and CI Catalog.. Yikes...  I'd tell you what I bought, but it would only upset the banter.. :)
Speak Up Man and Speak Up Loud!
Tony would kick me off the banter, say I wasn't a cigar smoker, and take my man card away...!   :o
That wouldn't be the reason, really!

Who died and left Tony in charge anyway?
Good point.  Tony has a rather tentative grasp on his man card, anyway.  Afternoon Mikey.
Afternoon Marky Mark.  How's your beans today?  Drinking martini's?  Spending too much time in Austin.

No worries, he was upset at the renters this morning went to throw both their deadbeat asses out in the snow and came home with no rent and feeling sorry for them while they sip Martini's and think up the next excuse.

Taste is very subjective.  I've posted many times before that one's mood changes the flavors too.  Usually when I'm at a b&m, I'm in such a great mood that everything tastes great.  In fact, I can't remember smoking a bad stick at a b&m.  But that doesn't make you any less crazy.

I can't get Petey to come out of his bird cage.  The last time he was out, he flew behind the tv set.  All I could see under the tv stand was his two little feet.  I put my hand to the back of one side of the tv as I watched under the stand.  He walked to my hand, but it looked like those tiny little bird feet walking in the 3 Stooges where the owl flys into a skeleton head and is walking across the floor.  I guess he's just too scared to come out now...

That's it for me, boys.  Good luck with your bird, BD.  KC is our resident bird whisperer if you need to bring in some professional help.
KC, that Johnny come lately with the bird whispering.  Sheesh!

Sheesh, another story about BD exposing his bird.  ;)
Could be worse
With these temps lately, I can't get my bird to come out either.

Yea, but then you had to say Moontrance...hope you didn't put them in a humi with any other cigars.  That smell will never go away.
But that's the way you turn regular cigars into Moontrance's.
