And apparently, lots of people thinking we're closed today, cause we're dead as shit. So, more time to follow the jam, just waiting for the Tempus to pop up so I can try to snag some before they're gone.

That's the only semi-perk about "holidays" like this and working...easily 50% of the people think you are closed and don't bother you :)

Guess I am the only lucky dog with a Holiday today.
Even my kids have school. Though, they also get the whole week off at Thanksgiving this year for some reason.
No school for my kids today which is nice, no homework
Yeah they have 4 hours of homework a day now to make up for the 4 hours of school time they wasted learning about social principles most of their parents don't believe in.
Well that's a bit of a negative spin from a guy with the day off  :D
Just a bit of fact not spin!  ;D.  Sounds like a hint of Holiday Jealousy! :)
Absolutely, I'd love to be off today. The problem is that there are no holidays off without the kids around so it's not exactly a break. I used to get Columbus Day off at my old job but the rest of the industry worked so you just fell a day behind
Need the day off so we can protest the great oppressor of Native American peoples and the guy who brought Italian restaurants to the new world!
Columbus???  I thought Dan Snyder did it! ???

Raining like a mofo here.  Nice!
Only lasted 15 minutes here but had 1/4" in that time.

Good morning gents!
Well good morning CG welcome to the dud of a Jam.
Good mornin Tex - ohh the days of the good jams where I would actually sit and watch them
Oh yeah that has been the topic of the day for the most part.  How was the hunting?
It was ok, nice weather in the morning for the first 2 walks but then ie became almost too windy in the afternoon(25mph winds) so the dogs were struggling to pickup anything.  We saw 12 hens and 3 roosters, 2 roosters way out in front and we dropped one(soft hit) and never found it(landed in deep cover around water).
Dog did well, no issue with gun shots, so that's a nice relief.
So youngster tell me who these bird hunters are.
