Mail call means different things at the Casa de Flip these days, Daughter opened up another envelope today.  Two weeks ago it was Whittier College with an acceptance and a $29K a year merit scholarship.  Today was Fairleigh Dickenson accepted, 30K a year scholarship, more than 75% of tuition. still have 9 more to hear from...
Nice!  Congrats to her for what must have been a lot of hard work to get that caliber of scholarship.
unlike me, she applies herself, while in high school, To me good grades came easy.  no need to study, I remembered just about everything.

66 degrees outside and sunny, might get in a cigar this afternoon.
15 degrees, feels like -4.  Getting a cigar 'cause I can smoke inside.  Restricted to "my room".
