Furnace has been cranking this morning. Currently 49, but supposedly getting up to 73 later. Wife's first shot is this afternoon, assuming they don't try to give her the J&J, which she doesn't want.

I believe I'm getting the Moderna in two parts. I was also able to schedule my eldest for hers and she is getting the Pfizer. In fact, she'll be done before me because there are only 3 weeks between.

It's dawned on me lately that I get out of the house about twice a week.  Three times if I do music at church.  That's kind of a scary stat.

When your boss asks for a report on how many servers and databases your team is responsible for, so you provide it, and then he says, "Your numbers are off.  You said 48 Terabytes and it's more like 4.8."  Then you show him one server (out of 68) that has 4 TB of data on it.  And he's, like, "Holy shit!"

I've got a serious headache coming on, mostly from rolling my eyes.

Better carry lots of water, and a long walking stick to protect from rattlesnakes.  Rattlesnakes strike at whatever is closest to them, so...long stick is great.  Do NOT carry a firearm, as the Mexican government is really, really touchy about that.  Also...the appropriate answers for questions from INS officials are "Como?" (not "que?") and "No entiendo" (not "no se").  But if the INS officials ask you questions in Spanish, then act like you're deaf, unless you're fluent in the language.
