Well it is certainly not the norm around here just happened upon a rare good one. The norm is more like when I went to McDonalds across the street while they were checking things out and told the boy at the cash register to cut the onions and he looks up and said "is that the same as no onions", I chit you not.
You may have been "high maintenance", and wanted the onions in small pieces, we get a lot of that up
this neck of the woods.

/No disrespect to any one ,But having grown up in SC We all said no onions please or leave off the onions, never heard cut the onions used, How ever I agree with the onions on a McDonald s burger being awful

Lived in SC 5 years and never had it questioned before, also lived in 7 different states and the District of Columbia and never had it questioned. Trust me, the boy was a lazy dumbass.
Edit: make that 8 states and even the inbred's in the Missouri Ozarks never questioned it.
