I put new controls on it. Then had to wait for parts to arrive. So it's been on the lift for two weeks.

4 Letter Words
-------------------------

A young Southern couple got married and went on their honeymoon. When they got back, the bride immediately called her mother. "Well," said her mother, "So how was the honeymoon, darlin?"

"Oh, mama," she replied, "The honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic...

Suddenly she burst out crying. "But, mama, as soon as we returned, Sam started using the most horrible language - things I'd never heard before! I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You've got to take me home... PLEASE MAMA!"

"Sarah, Sarah," her mother said, "calm down! You need to stay with your husband and work this out. Now, tell me, what could be so awful? WHAT 4-letter words?"

"Please don't make me tell you, mama," wept the daughter, "I'm so embarrassed, they're just too awful! COME GET ME, PLEASE!!"

"Darlin, baby, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your Mama these horrible 4-letter words!"

Still sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, Mama... he used words like: dust, wash, iron, cook..."

"I'll pick you up in twenty minutes," said the mother.

Good morning, everyone.
Morning Sir Antnee.
Great morning, Dave.  Made it home before the flip.
Hi Tony.  Did you behave last evening?
He was an angel!  Kept his pants on, didn't molest any pets and most important of all, he was right on time.  Things like that can ruin a well crafted reputation.
He didn't molest any pets that we know of but Sully had a funny look on his face after Tony "used the restroom"
Did you mean to say "lightened his load"?
No, that didn't happen.  Its Antnee we're talking about here.

Very nice evening at the NJ herf thanks to Dave, he's quite the host. Below is the pic of the cigar spread he laid out, I grabbed a couple before Tony dumped the tray into his pants.

From the copy: “The New World Cigar relates to expanding one’s knowledge and questioning the status quo by discovering our personal New Worlds as we go through life.”  Guess I'd better go relearn the words to "kumbaya".  Sheesh.
Creamy gobs of flavor!
Good morning Sir Green Star of the 5th Rank :P
At ease, lieutenant.
Thank you sir.  What's on the agenda for today?
Work for me, consult with the kidney surgeon for the wife. And I think the in-law's are taking the kids for a bit, so I may have the house to myself when I get home. Smoke or nap, that's the question. Haha.
That's a tough call...love me a nice 30min catnap and then a cigar :)  Hope the consult goes well, this the 2nd one?
Honestly, I've lost count.

Yeah, was a bit on the fence with that last group, but the recons' were just meh for me.  Don't know about a blend change, but figured I can't go wrong with the MoW's, despite the branding BS.

Very nice evening at the NJ herf thanks to Dave, he's quite the host. Below is the pic of the cigar spread he laid out, I grabbed a couple before Tony dumped the tray into his pants.

Nice! Silver tray and all. TravelinDave does it up right.

Same here, lol...with CBid and the Tat Blacks I used up my funds a little early.

You have been on a mission, Yellowstar. Since your bday, seems like you've picked up quite a few things... not that I'm counting. Just a little envious. Green with envy ya might say.  ;)
I have been going on a green light lately, need to get back to my roots of the yellow light.  Don't even make me think about the last 3 weeks of cigars...then add in $750 in power tools and I really get out of control!
Hey, if you've got the funds, spend away. Always time to make more.
True, but I am cooling the jets for a while.  Only thing on my radar are the Tatuaje TA 2014s...they should be out in the next month or two.  My humidor is becoming an impossible game of Jenga!
I know that game. After CF, I'm not sure I could've fit another 3 cigars anywhere.

...unless you had to. Amiright!?!

Dave, you have that link for the wineador fridge, or was that TruDog that just picked one up? Guess you could get em anywhere. Thought there was a place with a deal and a little rep going though.
Wasn't me who posted it, though I do have one. Here's the link to where you can get them. This is pretty much the cheapest price around, either there or on ebay. http://alturl.com/iqxo5

The trick is quantifying "a while."
Mornin' Raz!  2-3months...and then it's a shit storm...Oliva V Maddys, Sharks, Tat Halloween, etc  ;D
That's just fine.  I spent the budget for August and September.

Yeah with cigars releasing in Oct/Nov/Dec and Mar/Apr/May/June you gotta know when the off season and financial breaks are to recharge.

Very nice evening at the NJ herf thanks to Dave, he's quite the host. Below is the pic of the cigar spread he laid out, I grabbed a couple before Tony dumped the tray into his pants.

Nice! Silver tray and all. TravelinDave does it up right.

What are the RM101's next to the bunker Busters?
Those are the Serie HN, Honduran. Also had some good beer, Horny Goat Choc PB Porter and Founders Imperial Stout, very good stuff

Work for me, consult with the kidney surgeon for the wife. And I think the in-law's are taking the kids for a bit, so I may have the house to myself when I get home. Smoke or nap, that's the question. Haha.
Can't you do both?
If I have time, I just may. Might have to stop on the way home and grab a pizza, go for the trifecta.

Not yet, I hear good things tho.  Only thing recommended is a potential dry-box for a day...some have said there is a slight over-humidification of Chuck and Tiff...but others reported they were just fine.

That was my initial thought. Was on my list, but still behind the MC's to try. You had a Tat Fausto?
May be my favorite Tat.... strength and flavor galore!

Getting a nice collection of med-med/full with the Tats and Rm101's. Was looking for something with a little more bite... you just answered my question. I have been eyeballing for awhile, but hadn't heard any chatter (or yapping in Scott's case  ;)) on these. Probably throw a 5er on a mash purchase to get me to coupon level sometime in the near future.

New AJ stick http://halfwheel.com/new-world-horizon-j-fernandez/63763 (http://halfwheel.com/new-world-horizon-j-fernandez/63763)
Ugh, well, hopefully it's the best and the last!
Here's hoping.... of course there is that little additional detail about actually getting it done.  Hoping for a quick resolution.... well, quick from this point anyway.
Looks like it's gonna be sometime the week of the 20th, just nailing down the specifics with the different departments and whatnot. She's a "complicated case", according to the surgeon. Which is what you love to hear.
But are they settled on the "plan of attack"?
The radiologist is "relatively certain" they'll be able to get at it with some tube inserted through her back, so that's the plan for now. May change once they actually get in there.
Best of luck there Dave
Thanks. One day at a time.

Those are the Serie HN, Honduran. Also had some good beer, Horny Goat Choc PB Porter and Founders Imperial Stout, very good stuff
The Horny Goat was graciously supplied by littlefish.
Try that Rogue IPA, I left it for you in your fridge from heaven
Will do.... with pleasure!

We spoke about those last night while Tony and I were both smoking Bunker Busters, the Fausto is the strongest cigar I've ever smoked, excellent but serious strength
I prefer the Ambos Mundos over the Fausto myself.  More smooth and sophisticated, just like me.  8)
Exactly Bean!

I've had the Ambos sumatra and didn't walk away overly excited. Didn't shift into the full flavor I was expecting. It was a good, consistent, well constructed smoke though. I have a few more stashed away. I may revisit again this weekend to see if time has helped their cause.

Lot of options:  http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_12?url=search-alias%3Dgarden&field-keywords=scotch%20balls&sprefix=Scotch+balls%2Caps%2C166

these are the ones I like best (actually have three different styles) http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Rocks-Silicone-Ball-Molds/dp/B00DVLLKMM/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1405110690&sr=1-2&keywords=scotch+balls

Thanks Dave! Any of those should hold balls nicely. Of course you're preferred are the most spendy. Always the case it seems. Ya get what ya pay for.

I am outta here. Ya'll have a great weekend... and try to get along with your brothers!  ;)

Time for a beer and a seagar I guess.  Had some Torchy's Tacos for lunch and a nap afterwards. Not a new place around here but had not tried Torchy's before but as their sign says:  Damn Good. Best queso I ever had and I have tried plenty.  Bbl with afternoon selections.
I am a queso lover, cheese is my very good friend!  See ya soon!
afternoon boys. Taking a break from the sun. Made some pork tacos with manchego cheese, fresh salsa and guacamole. A good linch indeed. It may be time for a cold beer and a cigar.
Oy, did you guys rent a condo or are you at a resort?  Wife and I have been looking at going back to Mexico but not doing the all-inclusive route...

TravellinDave, just ordered my scotch ball ice molds from Amazon, got (2) 4-packs
I have some of those, they are awesome!
Dave had them last night, friggin' genius!

Was there a particular brand that was being tauted or just the concept. See quite a few silicon offerings.

TDave... you still around?

Cigar tip of the day:  Do Not put you finger in the hole of a Xikar Cigar Cutter and start spinning it around like a key chain then grab it from the outside to remove unless you are near some bandaids!!!!!  If you do so then you could be the next dumbass of the day. :'(

Does not seem to know a finger from a cigar, in fact I think the finger is a smoother cut than my cigar.

My son turned his car off, but the engine will not stop running.  I assume he as a bad ignition switch, but how can he turn off his car without the key...?

I have to run over to my sons house.  So far people are saying, "take the battery cable off to kill the engine.."  But I won't know until I try.  Later....
