Ahhhhh, BALLS!!
Those, we've got
And apparently Dicks too.
..and a few weenies too.
I have a sudden urge to fire up the grill when I get home tonight.  Howdy, Michael.
Grilling some dogs?  Afternoon Tony. We got back to our summer weather.

I thought he quit the site?
Traveling Dave, I'm possibly heading to France in a couple weeks for 10-12 days (if passport comes through).  Would appreciate any travel tips (I rarely travel and it's been many years since I've been out of the country), especially since I seem to remember you going to France not too long ago.  So, please PM me any good tips.  Also, what about cigars ... should I take a bunch (both of my fellow travelers enjoy good cigars ... one almost daily, the other weekly) or are they reasonably priced and widely available?  Lighters, cutters ... TSA?  Thanks.  I'll check back for your answer ... have to leave laptop for a bit.

Hi Sly, yes I saw your note the other day and responded, but I guess we missed each other.  I'll PM you with what I can offer.  As for Cigars....best to bring your own....very expensive there and not so easy to find.  You can get Cubans in duty free but they are pricy!  You cannot bring a torch in carry on, but you can bring a bic like lighter.I wouldn't bring your best cutter.  Sometimes people show considerable interest in them at security.  I'll PM you with some more

Oh, sorry guys ... had just read up on the last few pages of banter ... Good afternoon.  Had a nice cigar yesterday afternoon on a covered patio ...while doing a blind tast test of two bourbons ... one is Jim Beam Black 8 year, the other was Benchmark which is less than $20 for a 1.75L botl.  All three of us got it reversed, thought the more expensive Black was the one we all liked, but in reality it was the Benchmark which is made by the same folks who make Buffalo Trace.  Oddly I can remember what my two fellow cigars smokers were having: LAdC red band and RP Connecticut, but I can't remember what I smoked (usually I take about 5 in a pack to choose from in the moment).  After the smoke and the bourbons, I took advantage of the Papa John's Pizza 50% off deal on an XL Pizza and some wings. (50% off total order when Nats win after scoring 7 or more runs in the game.  Piffle ... I was watching the Orioles game on TV and saw that they have the same deal, but only have to score 5 or more runs and win ... that's discrimination  ... I'll have to call the ACLnotforU office.  Then the lightning, thunder and pouring rain came ... good thing I left my window down a couple inches, so that I had a nice puddle on the drivers seat.  8)  I remembered the cigar I had last night ... went fishing for the ring ... Camacho 10th Anniversary 11/18 ... very nice cigar !!!

Thank you, Dave.  Can you bring a torch and cutter in your checked baggage?  Danke.  Looks like I might be using my 15 or 40ct traveldors for the first time.  Normally I just use a Ziploc gallon bag and a humipak.

P.S. We are renting a car to travel to different parts of France, then coming back and spending the last two nights in Paris.  Trying to keep expense down, but it is crazy expensive just for the hotel.

I usually travel with a 20 count humi in my checked luggage - and I add a lighter and cutter to it.  It's never been an issue.    Just my 2¢.

For some background info Sly, how many days would you be travelling?  I don't usually do a check bag, so it complicates some aspects of travel a bit.  Yes, you could put a torch in checked bag....but I wouldn't do a favorite one.  Depending on amount of time, I usually do a combination of travel humi and zip bags with a humidity pack.

Yes EVERYTHING is expensive there...unless you are doing the hostel route, there really isn't a way to avoid it.  All rental cars are manual...you pay a lot more for automatic.  May be best to pick up an inexpensive international Garmin here.  You will need cash, so get some before you head out (euros).

I'm heading out.  Looks like I'm gonna smoke the AFR-75 San Andres Maduro.  It's better than not smoking anything at all.  Am I right?
