You don't need a 60" if you're only 6 ft away. Otherwise, like you say, you have to uncomfortably scan the screen. Like you're sitting in the front row at the movie theater. And just remember with technology, anything you buy today will be half price in a year.

I think they are a solid company though...but I wouldn't go much bigger than 55" without going 240hz.
