But seriously...if those kids of yours grow up and leave the house and aren't better cooks than you, you will have failed them.

My kids are already better cooks than my wife, but that's not saying much. They have pretty sophisticated palates and will try just about anything. We often cook together on the weekends. My daughters helped me out a bunch on Thanksgiving. The boys would have too but they were both hacking up a lung and I preferred to keep them away from the kitchen.
