Apparently, my in-laws lost power for a while, and now that it's come back on, their furnace has shit the bed.

Oof. I hope they get that heat cranked on soon. Sorry to hear all the troubles my BotL and their families are having.

Sounds like most anyone in the area who could help them are busy for the next few days. Which is understandable, given the weather. Fingers crossed they can find someone. They do have a fireplace in the living room, so they won't be totally chilled to the bone.

I managed to get out of work yesterday. It was the scariest ride of my life. I should have just stayed but here I am and this is my view from my garage.

In-laws got their furnace rigged for the time being and the heat is running. But the part they had to order to fix the problem won't arrive until Wednesday. So now it's a waiting game to see how long the fix lasts.
