yesterday afternoon I was out looking for servicing my Jeep. not a comfortable feeling when you are out of state and don't want to be taken advantage of. one place kept being mentioned by the friends I have made here so I pulled in and talked to the manager. I needed an oil change and there was hardly any tread left on my tires. my brakes don't feel quite right, I was sure my alignment was off, I thought I smelled transmission fluid the other day so I gave him the rundown, got prices on tires and he would throw in the oil change and go through the Jeep with what I was concerned about. I got off cheep. 4 Good Year Wranglers, and the oil change. $424. brakes are good and they may need replacing in July/August. alignment is fine, as is the tranny. no idea where the smell was coming from or even if it was from my Jeep. everything they looked at was fine but did recommend replacing the serpentine belt, $132. that is on hold until I shop around a bit. I may replace that myself, but will probably go back at the end of the month and have them do it.
