Morning, Chip. Big plans on your day off?
Currently at my mothers house till 8 when the care giver takes my place, I will spend the next 5 hours or so hoping the Dish guy shows up and installs the new receiver before I have to go to a meeting that will last until 6 tonight.  Not the way I prefer spending a day off.

Bad news: You didn't win the estimated $500 million Powerball prize on Wednesday night.

Good news: No one else did.

And because of that, the already huge jackpot soared to $675 million, the largest in U.S. history, the Texas Lottery tweeted late Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the BBWAA announced that Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza had been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame for 2016. Here are some key takeaways from this year's balloting ...

1. Ken Griffey set a new ballot percentage record.

All but three voters named Ken Griffey Jr. on their ballots, which comes to a percentage of 99.3. That's an all-time record. Griffey's lofty tally breaks Tom Seaver's old record of 98.8 percent. Griffey also becomes just the 14th Hall of Famer ever to be named on at least 95 percent of ballots.

2. Mike Piazza is the rare catcher to the make the Hall.

Piazza now becomes just the 17th primary catcher to make the Hall of Fame. Among position players, only third basemen, with 14 inductees, number fewer in the Hall. He'll become the first primary catcher to be inducted since Gary Carter in 2003.

@ Fish - don't worry, you will not need to say No to the SC herf, too many of your type migrated down there there already.
Not sure there are that many of my type  :D
I agree, I'd stay out of SC if I were you, Scott.

Just the wrong part of the State!
But it is still in the State, saying you are Fish's "type" is a bit troublesome though but after all you did not go to USC.

Morning Mr. Mayor and Yellowstar.
Good mornin Dave.  Fun fact of the day, buddy who I used to work with and who plays in my hockey league, we had some beers after the game last night.  His FiL was the white-hat ref for the Orange Bowl this year(he's normally a B10 ref), was showing me some sweet pics/etc since he got all access passes and the works.

Son just texted me asking where you buy lottery tickets and how do you play....think he'll share?
Only if you can find him when he wins.  Problem with that is I've got the winning ticket here...:P
Then there is already at least two winning tickets cause I got one too
Nah, you're both wrong.  It's in my wallet.

Morning, muchachos.
Hey Raz!
Morning Raz.556
Morning, Tex.  Probably going with a Primary Arms Micro Dot setup for the new rifle.  And looks like I'll be spending a long weekend at FrontSite in April.  That's all the firearms-related news for me this morning.

Good morning boys, That reminds me about the blonde who prayed to
God, to win the lottery.  She prayed for three weeks straight, because she really needed
the money.  After the third week, she was very annoyed, with God in her prayers. He replied
"Help me out a little, at least buy 1 ticket!"

Yes and bought some thinking that was as good as it could get but with the 20% off they are only $64 so I bought some more to apply cost averaging!

sampler blow out has the Bueso box for $29.50, but not freight free.  also the Tat Lancero collection for $79.99.  not sure if that's a good price or not.
Normally a decent buy on Tats but bought recently on the page for $70 with FS.
I just put the Tats in my cart, will look for a good jam item for the FS and get both for $80-$85
20% off code works on those tats, don't forget the CyB boxes.    $64 for Tats with the 20% off is a steal, hope there are some left ;D

CyB Lonsdale boxes are about $58 with the 20% off and coronas are about $50.
Still need FS
And Room 101 Connie coronas (213) box of 25 for $69.74
Don't try to throw me off the scent of the EPC's on CBID! What's your max bid?
:-X   Thought you were on a buying hiatus?
On hiatus, but with Tats in his cart, waiting for a good jam deal.

Prediction:

"Tony, you have done a great job for us this year and we certainly appreciate all of your efforts, but unfortunately we will, once again, not be able to offer you any type of compensation adjustment. With the current state of the company, we were just not able to do anything in that area. So, you will be getting exactly the same increase this year as last 0%... which will be exactly the same as what the IT guys who are rarely here are getting. Once again, we really appreciate your work. Thank you. Now, GFY and get back to work"

no, it was from a customer that we deal with up here off and on and they asked me on Tuesday this week a price for a project on Monday next week.  I got a call about 2 hrs ago telling me they needed the price by tonight.  since they're not really good customers, and the job is not a good one from a supply standpoint, and I have a case of the ass about it now,  they get an extra 20% to pay if they want us to do the work.  also padded the incoming freight cost, so it may really be around 35% PIA charge.

Go for it.  It's exciting as hell when your stars change.  Just ask Tex.
Maybe your definition of exiting and mine tend to differ a bit.  Only
one more star. I think they are still going to ask me for a train ticket on the way home,
and I am betting dollars to doughnuts, there will not be a ticker tape parade on the way to the station.
Guess you don't believe in keeping score in T-ball either.
Participant Trophy!
Fixed it CB
Thanks Editor Redfish.  Mr. Fix-it.

I get to work long before daylight and had a vagrant walk up to my truck and try to open the door this morning when I parked.  Of course the door was locked as always when I am downtown but then he started putting his hands on the window.  Last saw him running down the street, don't think he will approach my truck again.

It's not a bad mild cigar. But it's very loosely packed and meh in flavor. I get occasional spice and cedar on the retrohale but not enough to make it interesting.
