Some strange twists underway with the Las Vegas attack, now the "Asian" female (Pilipino actually) is now a "person of interest" and has been flown to the U.S. from the Phillipines and coordinated by the FBI.

According to NewsWeek:

The person who may hold the key to solving the mystery of why the Vegas gunman killed 59 and wounded nearly 600 people led a convoluted life of her own, with two simultaneous husbands, a bankruptcy, two Social Security numbers, multiple addresses in several states and even different ages depending on which state records you review.

Developing Tropical Weather Activity

Showers and thunderstorms associated with the broad area of low
pressure located over the southwestern Caribbean Sea continue to
show signs of organization.  Environmental conditions are forecast
to steadily become more conducive for development, and this system
is expected to become a tropical depression within the next couple
of days.  The large disturbance should move slowly northwestward
across or near the eastern portions of Nicaragua and Honduras, move
into the northwestern Caribbean Sea on Thursday, and emerge over
the southern Gulf of Mexico by the weekend. Interests in Nicaragua,
Honduras, Belize, and the Yucatan peninsula should monitor the
progress of this system over the next few days.  An Air Force
Reserve reconnaissance aircraft is scheduled to investigate the
disturbance this afternoon, if necessary.  Regardless of
development, this system will likely produce heavy rains over
portions of Central America during the next few days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent.

Funniest crime spree I have heard of in a while!  (Conway is just west of Myrtle Beach and both are in Horry County)

Police search for man who stole ambulance battery in order to steal truck in order to steal generators

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County police are searching for a man who stole a battery from an ambulance in order to use it and steal a truck to use to take two generators.

According to a post on the Horry County Police Department’s Facebook page, the suspect wanted to remove two generators from the Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council in the Conway area.

He realized he would need a truck to take the generators, but the one he tried to take from across the street had a dead battery, according to information from the HCPD.

At that point, the suspect reportedly went to AMS Medical Transport and took a battery from the ambulance.

Ultimately, Waccamaw EOC, Leonards, Conway Ford and AMS Medical Transport all amassed damage

Chris Murphy (D CT) was on the senate floor ranting about guns and there was not a single SOB there besides him and a tv camera.  All 99 other seats were empty ::)

I luv it when the tv talking bobble heads have an expert on and he/she does not say what they want to hear to support their narrative.

Saw it Monday with a psychiatrist on CNN and just now with a lawyer on Fox.  As soon as it came out of his mouth the Hosts chit a brick and said dahdah we got to go to break now

Edit:  In both cases the Guests were telling it like it really is based on their knowledge and jobs.

to steadily become more conducive for development, and this system
is expected to become a tropical depression within the next couple

Good morning, Scott. Kids still pissed at you for not taking them on vacation with you?
Morning Tony, they've mentioned it a time or two. We are going to FL in a month however
What is that, three vacations this quarter?  Fishy livin' the high life.
Yes, unusual. OBX and FL are every year but the Bermuda trip was for my 50th

Today is Wednesday, Oct. 4, the 277th day of 2017. There are 88 days left in the year.

Today's Highlights in History:

On Oct. 4, 1957, the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1, the first artificial satellite, into orbit. The family sitcom "Leave It to Beaver" premiered on CBS.

On this date:

In 1777, Gen. George Washington's troops launched an assault on the British at Germantown, Pennsylvania, resulting in heavy American casualties.

Ten years ago: Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, defiantly vowed to serve out his term in office despite losing a court attempt to rescind his guilty plea in a men's room sex sting. A former city maintenance worker shot five people in a law office in Alexandria, Louisiana, killing two of them; the gunman was killed by police following a standoff. South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il pledged to pursue a peace treaty and end their countries' decades-long standoff.

Five years ago: A day after his first debate with Mitt Romney, which had been widely seen as a victory for Romney, President Barack Obama suggested that his Republican rival hadn't been candid about his policy positions during the faceoff. The Nielsen Co. said an estimated 67.2 million people had watched the debate; it was the biggest TV audience for a presidential debate since 1992.

One year ago: Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine repeatedly challenged Mike Pence during their vice presidential debate, attempting to tie the Indiana governor to some of Donald Trump's most controversial statements about women, immigrants and foreign policy while Trump's running mate maintained a folksy, soft-spoken demeanor as he defended the New York billionaire. Hurricane Matthew slammed into Haiti's southwest peninsula, the first Category 4 storm to hit the country in more than a half century; the Haitian government put the death toll from Matthew at 546.

If you ordered it yourself you'd be taking away the jobs of three other people who are paid to put hands on that request.  That is not how a card carrying union member is supposed to think.  Shame on you!

Woman Charged With Beating Boyfriend To Death With Frying Pans

CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) — A Camden woman is facing murder charges in the beating of her boyfriend last month.

It was Labor Day weekend when police in Woodlynne, Camden County were called to a convenience market on Mount Ephraim Avenue.

Jason Lewis, 35, was conscious, but bleeding from the head after he said he had been beaten by his girlfriend with a pair of frying pans, according to the Camden County Prosecutor.

The woman, 31-year-old Maleia Cole, fled to her home about a block away.

Lewis later underwent emergency surgery but succumbed to his injuries last week.

Cole was apprehended without incident after being charged with murder, and awaits a pre-trial detention hearing.

Welcome back, Dave. Reassignment surgery a success? What should we call you now?
Pretty sure it's going to be Joanna, but we'll wait for confirmation.
I watched Joanna last night, farm sink, barn door, Shiplap and a metal sign once again.
What has your pretty $150-$200/hr decorator come up with? Wonder if it's unique to your project.
Well the decorator has been a very good investment and also pleasing to my eyes, cooler day on Monday and she was wearing some lulu lemons, whooooo weeeeee!

For starters she is essentially free in the long run.  Charged us for 2.5 hours to do what we needed and with furniture and/or accessory purchases within 6 months exceeding $1250 from the store we get the entire fee discounted off the price or half of it with $750.  The warden will cover that easily, she loves that store!

Next thing is she has kept the warden pretty happy along the way, that is impossible to figure the value of but a hell of a lot more than a few hundred bucks!

We hired her to simply coordinate the colors for us based on using what we already had to work with so yeah our place is pretty unique.  The warden can never make a decision on such and the decorator has helped immensely with that.  When we started we showed her pictures of the major furniture and the warden handed her about a dozen color samples of things she liked from Sherwin Williams.  She helped narrow those down to 4 and suggested basic colors and styles for everything else. We pick things out then stop by the store for her thoughts, sometimes it is a go sometimes she has a different suggestion.  It has worked well.

The wall paints turned out fabulous and the colors make the warden smile, hopefully the 2 most expensive items granite and floors will do the same.

The sink involves a lot of elements including style, price, size, shape, material and unless we go with stainless color so not as easy as it might seem.

You need a remodeling project with the warden to understand!

Much as I'd like to harass SCarFish, I understand his fatigue.
Thank you Raz and Bean too will well understand once his project gets going.

Morning DecoratorDave, TakeMeOutToTheTony, BeanyBean, BetweenVacaysFish, MovinOnUpDean.

You need a remodeling project with the warden to understand!

finishing up a Short Story.
I met a buddy of mine for a few drinks. He shared this cigar with me. Originally he was considering doing this as a business. He had a cigar made to commemorate his dad. Eventually because of the barriers to entry, he decided to just make this a private blend. It's a really nice cigar. It's had about 9 months of downtime.

Rest in peace, Bobby.

Burn was great right until I took those photos. Draw is great and flavors are really nice. I don't know the blend but I can tell you it's pretty full bodied. Feeling this cigar in my chest. Lots of pepper up front but then it loses that after the first inch. That's about how long the initial ash held on.

What's the century got to do with it? If I could have afforded it, that's what I would have gone with.

Properly cared for, it's more durable than stainless or any of the various resins. I think it looks better too. But it's spendy.

Fireclay is 100 times better and looks better longer plus I don't want to have to "care" for my damn sink beyond normal, use and maintenance.
