We are getting hammered with rain and wind now but everything is under control so far.  Winds probably 40-50 now gusting higher per.

Wind gusts 70-80 now and not letting up at all.  Blew a small tree down in my front yard.

It's the 20th anniversary of the O.J. Simpson low speed chase...  I don't understand it.  The police don't seem to have a problem in high speed chases, or at least not in the movies.  But if you go slow, it seems to confuse them. I guess they are just thinking he's looking for a place to pull over..?

We had 2.5" of rain in an hour and that is a hell of a lot in this dry place but we sure can use that.  All calmed down now just very light rain.  Blew some large oak trees down within 5 miles of me.
