Need a Different Lawyer?
-------------------------

YOU know you need a Different Lawyer when ......

* You met him in prison.

* During your initial consultation he tries to sell you Amway.

* He tells you that his last good case was a Budweiser.

* When the prosecutors see who your lawyer is, they high-five each other.

* He picks the jury by playing "duck-duck-goose."

* He tells you that he's never told a lie.

* He asks a hostile witness to "pull my finger."

* A prison guard is shaving your head.

Split the 1st box with my brother, so only 75 minus the couple I've already smoked. Probably too many of one kind for the limited space I have, but the deal was too good.

Morning, Mr. Mayor.
I promised you a used car story today... I'm actually working from home today because I had to take my car in for service this morning.  I had my ball joints, tie rods, etc replaced earlier this month.  They told me I should get my brakes done too but I just couldn't swing it this month so I told them I'd hold off.  On my way home it was making noise but I just chalked it up to the brakes.

Fast forward to earlier this week in the train station parking lot, I found a lug nut on the ground with the threaded stem still in it.  I shoved it in my pocket because the train was there and figured I'd deal with it later.  When I returned from work I realized that 3 lugs/stems were broken off.  I took my lug wrench out and tightened the remaining two nuts and since I have a death wish, I drove it home.  Voila!  The noise I thought were the brakes is gone.  Those fuckers sent me on my way without tightening any of the lug nuts on my driver's side front wheel.  Not so worried about my own safety, but I take my kids to school in that car.  WTF?!?!

That'd be hilarious if it wasn't so scary. I learned long ago to check the lugs after any service involving removal of the wheels. Too many near-tragic experiences.

I will check from now on, but never would have thought to do that.  When I told the service guy this morning, he turned white as a ghost even before I said anything about my lawyer.

Good morning, Bret.

Actually, he said something about, "I'll see what I can do for you regarding the brakes".  He just called to say the car is ready but didn't mention anything about the brakes.  I may mention something passive aggressive when I get there.  We'll see.

Although.....if they do this good a job just putting lug nuts back....I'm a little afraid to think what they would do with brake work.

I got both!  This asshole who was tasked with providing very important status for this meeting blew us off and we hung around on the line waiting.  Then he replied that he was too busy and we should reschedule for tomorrow.  My boss was on the line too and I told him I won't be dialing in because I'm taking a personal day.  GFY!

I am aggravated because tomorrow is my day off for a 3 day weekend and I got so much shit to do around this house I don't know where to start.  Also my crown for the broken tooth did not arrive to finish that process tomorrow.  My god dam swimming pool is greener than the grass waiting for a valve to arrive tomorrow Fed Ex to get that process started.a

No, I came within millimeters, but hesitated because it wasn't an SF and I was concerned about grip size and being able to control it well.  Then all five sold and it was gone.  I was kinda kicking myself, because it was a killer deal, but as it turns out was a good thing because my bike ended up costing me $840.  So, disappointed, but not terribly so.  I'll get one, eventually.

Longest day of workaference in a while for me in addition to driving 225 miles. Chit,  glad it is over.
Been roughly the same here.  Aggravated because I'm taking the day off tomorrow.

At least the weather is cooperating low 80's and sunny all weekend
No more tornado's or hail?

Howdy, Tex.
Afternoon Raz, you buy that G-20?
No, I came within millimeters, but hesitated because it wasn't an SF and I was concerned about grip size and being able to control it well.  Then all five sold and it was gone.  I was kinda kicking myself, because it was a killer deal, but as it turns out was a good thing because my bike ended up costing me $840.  So, disappointed, but not terribly so.  I'll get one, eventually.
They'll make more, Obama promises.
There are plenty available but about $100 more.   Those were the hardest Glock to get besides the G30S during the last famine.  G30s is still Pretty scarce.

Where'd they send you to this time?
San Antonio was supposed to go yesterday and come back mis morning morning then Wednesday night they changed it to today.  Got back to the office about 1 to find a shit storm.  Was interesting though the DOJ subpoenaed 16 years of records for that investigation I mentioned last week which has some mucks anus's constrained.
Don't any of the estrogeners hit the road, or do you get to do all that?

Most of them are elsewhere in the Northeast but I don't usually mind the road so as not to be in the office and I like seeing the countryside.

good evening, at a Quality Inn outside Orlando, spent the day on the lakes of Winter Park, Florida. I got a picture of Nick Faldo's house, most of the properities are in the $10 million range, nice place to visit but I'd hate to live here, way too much traffic. AF 8-5-8 maduro waiting for dinner to be delivered. Bikerlady lady in the room in her pj's.

not funny doing 72 mph and everybody in front of me, 6 cars and an 18 wheeler locking up their brakes, was real worried about the hundreds of vehicles behind me not paying attention.

Ass pucker is good for you once in a while as long as you did not hit or get hit.  Everyday event around here.  Dump truck hit a house trailer here Tuesday and shut the interstate down 7 hours.
