Tough loss for the kids, Tony. Sounds like those two teams are pretty evenly matched.I agree. We happen to know all the players too because half of them are our teammates on the other team we play for.
And good morning, humpers and humpees.Happy day of humping, to you.
I imagine that can be somewhat confusing at times.Tough loss for the kids, Tony. Sounds like those two teams are pretty evenly matched.I agree. We happen to know all the players too because half of them are our teammates on the other team we play for.

Good morning, Rick.
You also soon realize that in spite of the "practice hard to be good" mantra, it's clear at an early age that some kids got it and some kids don't. Sure, the good kids (and not so good kids) get better with practice, but when it comes to athletic skill, you're born with it (or not).My son and a bunch of kids played on the same league for years. Agreed. I've always thought "practice makes perfect" is such a dumbass statement. You also soon realize that in spite of the "practice hard to be good" mantra, it's clear at an early age that some kids got it and some kids don't. Why does the 48 hour Memorial Day sale at Atlantic end on Thursday....before Memorial Day weekend?Probably the same reason my kids had spring break in early March before spring actually arrived. Lol
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having a busy dayLike a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

I think there's something about putting in your 10,000 hours. Practice definitely doesn't hurt.Agreed. I've heard that too, and there's absolutely something to practice. But to say any amount of practice will amount to perfection is just stupid. Especially since in most activities, perfection isn't attainable. I don't know, it's just always rubbed me the wrong way.I think there's something about putting in your 10,000 hours.
