Indeed. Even starting it early by only working a half day on Friday, still seems like it went by way too fast.

What I am, does not factor in the holidays the UN chooses to give me off. They try to keep it balanced. I will also get Christmas off.

In Florida, it’s just plain bad drivers…….I mean, oblivious dumb drivers…everywhere. Turn signals? Never heard of ’em. Out on the interstate, get out into the high-speed left lane and stay there. Rear view mirror? Don’t use it. Stop signs? It should read “pause if you feel like it.” A red light? Only a suggestion…no need to comply. Green light? Can’t see it, the sun is in my eyes. Can’t walk? Too short to see over the steering wheel. Coming up on age 102? No problem, buy a bigger Cadillac or Lincoln and people will watch out for you. Its mighty scary down here in God’s waiting room!!!!!

We see that same behavior up here. No offense, but New Yorkers seem to be the worst at sitting in the left lane. 9 times out of 10 when I'm forced to pass on the right, the guy in the left lane going 10 miles under the speed limit has NY plates on his car.

Don't fret, I would never purposefully watch Fox News. But I have some FB friends in low places that keep everyone updated on these sorts of national crises.

Cigar related story (often attributed to Winston Curchill):
The “Listener” reports the following from the subway: On one of the recent warm days a sour-visaged, fussy lady got on one of the smoking seats on an open car in the subway.
Next her sat a man who was smoking a cigar. More than that, the lady, sniffing, easily made out that the man had been eating onions. Still more than that, she had the strongest kind of suspicion that he had been drinking beer. The lady fussed and wriggled, and grew angrier, and looked at the man scornfully. Presently she could endure it no longer. She looked squarely at him and said:
“If you were my husband, sir, I’d give you a dose of poison!”
The man looked at her. “If I were your husband,” said he, “I’d take it!”

That's why I have the cigarbanter therapy to help me get through it.
+1, along with the actual cigar therapy.
Goes without saying.
Just had had to say it.
Nothing wrong with that. I'm already thinking of my commute smoke.
Yeah, me too. had an El Primer Mundo toro for lunch and was very impressed, seeing as I paid under $2 a stick, this one was good.
Have any candidates in mind for the commute yet?

I'm thinking about a Black Dragon or another El Primer.

I just reached in and grabbed something out of the work humidor. I'll go with it unless it rains. The Debonair maduro was one of the cigars given to me at the Drew Estate Barnsmoker.
Edit: It's Phil Zanghi's brand. He used to collaborate with Rocky on the Indian Tabac sticks. However, I guess DE makes this particular Debonair for him.

Not a fan. The draw was a little too tight for my liking. Perhaps it was power of suggestion but I was not surprised to find that this was a Dominican cigar. The retrohale was smooth but I can't really identify specific flavors. I'd have to smoke another to give a more accurate review. But I wouldn't buy one just for that purpose. That said, I may have another one sitting around in one of my humidors.
