Afternoon, men.  Out in the shop with an Uncle Lee. The front which came through yesterday dropped the humidity a bit, pleasant breeze coming through the OH door.

Finished work early today, a nap might be in my very near future.
You got tired, from picking out sinks and flooring?
Have you not taken the Warden to pick out sinks and flooring?

Much as I'd like to harass SCarFish, I understand his fatigue.
Thank you Raz and Bean too will well understand once his project gets going.

Floors are ordered and close on the sink.  All the difficult stuff is all settled on, sink is minor.
3 bowl sink in black enamel?

Morning DecoratorDave, TakeMeOutToTheTony, BeanyBean, BetweenVacaysFish, MovinOnUpDean.
Welcome back, Dave. Reassignment surgery a success? What should we call you now?
Pretty sure it's going to be Joanna, but we'll wait for confirmation.
I watched Joanna last night, farm sink, barn door, Shiplap and a metal sign once again.
What has your pretty $150-$200/hr decorator come up with? Wonder if it's unique to your project.
Well the decorator has been a very good investment and also pleasing to my eyes, cooler day on Monday and she was wearing some lulu lemons, whooooo weeeeee!

For starters she is essentially free in the long run.  Charged us for 2.5 hours to do what we needed and with furniture and/or accessory purchases within 6 months exceeding $1250 from the store we get the entire fee discounted off the price or half of it with $750.  The warden will cover that easily, she loves that store!

Next thing is she has kept the warden pretty happy along the way, that is impossible to figure the value of but a hell of a lot more than a few hundred bucks!

We hired her to simply coordinate the colors for us based on using what we already had to work with so yeah our place is pretty unique.  The warden can never make a decision on such and the decorator has helped immensely with that.  When we started we showed her pictures of the major furniture and the warden handed her about a dozen color samples of things she liked from Sherwin Williams.  She helped narrow those down to 4 and suggested basic colors and styles for everything else. We pick things out then stop by the store for her thoughts, sometimes it is a go sometimes she has a different suggestion.  It has worked well.

The wall paints turned out fabulous and the colors make the warden smile, hopefully the 2 most expensive items granite and floors will do the same.

The sink involves a lot of elements including style, price, size, shape, material and unless we go with stainless color so not as easy as it might seem.

You need a remodeling project with the warden to understand!

finishing up a Short Story.
I met a buddy of mine for a few drinks. He shared this cigar with me. Originally he was considering doing this as a business. He had a cigar made to commemorate his dad. Eventually because of the barriers to entry, he decided to just make this a private blend. It's a really nice cigar. It's had about 9 months of downtime.

Rest in peace, Bobby.

Burn was great right until I took those photos. Draw is great and flavors are really nice. I don't know the blend but I can tell you it's pretty full bodied. Feeling this cigar in my chest. Lots of pepper up front but then it loses that after the first inch. That's about how long the initial ash held on.

What's the century got to do with it? If I could have afforded it, that's what I would have gone with.

Properly cared for, it's more durable than stainless or any of the various resins. I think it looks better too. But it's spendy.

Fireclay is 100 times better and looks better longer plus I don't want to have to "care" for my damn sink beyond normal, use and maintenance.

Does anyone really think this will save ONE more life?
