Rhonda introduced me to the Randy Newman song "Louisiana 1927"  in 2006, a song which I had somehow never noted despite being a fan of Randy Newman. She and her band the Rage do an incredibly haunting version of it, though to my knowledge they've never recorded it.

We had rice with ours as well. It was easier for us to have leftovers, cause it was just me and the middle kid. The youngest had some when she got home from her friend's house, though.
