I have to disagree with that scenario, the first interview is what they remember about you and if you fail the first there will not be a re-take.  If good fortune brings a second interview come up with a different suit and tie.......   Look the best you  possibly can when you walk in the door the first time and every other time until your 2nd day on the job.

SUIT - dark color with white shirt unless navy then a dress blue shirt is ok!!!!!!!    Shine your shoes and wipe your azz too. :)
