Jacksonville, FL

Two men intended on robbbing a bank during the night. They had a stick of dynamite that was supposed to be dropped in a bank vault deposit. The two men mistook a car wash coin deposit for the bank vault deposit. When the stick of dynamite exploded hundreds of coins shot out every where like a shotgun injuring the two men. They were stunned long enough for the police to arrive and arrest them for their crime.

Is this the right forum?
Yes, yes it is.

Morning, muchachos.

RazMan!

it depends on what you're looking for.
Well, it is short a few things. No cigars, women, whiskey, Harleys, handguns, or cowboy boots. But it's still a grand start.
Agreed.  Good morning, Bret.

A New Jersey judge ordered the return of $1.5 million to a casino from gamblers who won at a table game after realizing the cards had not been shuffled.

State Superior Court Judge Donna Taylor ruled in favor of the Golden Nugget casino in its dispute with 14 gamblers who say it was not there fault the cards were not shuffled and should be allowed to keep their winnings.

A mini-baccarat game is where the trouble started in April 2012. The casino was using decks of cards that paid a manufacturer to pre-shuffle, but the deck at hand was not shuffled. Once the gamblers realized the cards were not shuffled, they increased their bets from $10 to $5,000 and proceeded to win 41 straight hands.

Judge Taylor said the games were illegal under state law because they did not conform to the state's gambling regulations.

"The dealer did not pre-shuffle the cards immediately prior to the commencement of play, and the cards were not pre-shuffled in accordance with any regulation," the judge wrote. "Thus, a literal reading of the regulations ... entails that the game violated the (Casino Control) Act, and consequently was not authorized."

The Golden Nugget casino bought what were supposed to be pre-shuffled cards from a Kansas City Manufacturer. The manufacturer did acknowledge it failed to shuffle the cards. The litigation between the manufacturer and the casino was resolved, but a confidentiality agreement prevents details from being revealed.
Golden Nugget?  I thought they closed down in A/C 30 years ago.  I had to Google it.  Turns out they bought the Trump Marina a few years back.  I rarely make my way down there.  I much prefer Vegas.  But let me get this straight... The casino gets their money back from the "winners" and then has the ability to sue the the manufacturer because the cards weren't pre-shuffled?
and it was 3 years ago! like the gamblers still have the winning?

Speaking of cigars, had a lovely little brown box full of Cuarentas waiting for me when I got home last night.
Nothing says welcome home like a nice little brown box on your doorstep.
Yup, cheered me right up after a really chitty day.

Orlando, FL

A few months ago, a rapist learned that being dumb can be fatal. After breaking into a woman's apartment and holding her at knife-point, he began assaulting his victim. In the throes of misguided passion, the assailant dropped his knife onto the bed. The victim picked it up and stabbed him to death.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Looks like CB got his azz scolded for acting like us and calling Fred and Fans douchbags in jest. LOL
Yes, well they respect others over there (pretty much), and don't talk about unimportant things like lunch and guns....
Did you get a load of that malarky? Quite the ever-changing set of laws over there
LMAO!   Good morning Fish.
I have to say I don't understand the classification parameters, are we above any subject here for the most part? Jeez, just talk and have fun, I guess that's the reason for what has turned out to be a very natural separation
Except that some continue to be jealous of the fun we have here and that we don't seem to miss the nonsense.
And we need more banter box-splits!
So where is our Masters Golf Box standing?

Homosassa, FL (just down the road from me)

A man went into a hardware store to apply for a job. After completing his application he went to the section of the store that sold guns. He asked to see a couple guns, and the attendant left for a moment. The guy stole the guns. Not only was he video-taped, the police used the address on his application to go to his house and arrest him.
He probably assumed he got the job and wanted to familiarize himself with the inventory.  Right away everyone jumps to the conclusion that he wasn't going to return them.  Sheesh.

Already sued, settled and sealed. When it comes to gambling, it's good to be the House.

In cigar news, the weekly special is pretty decent, if you like Diesels. Might get some more HotD, or some of the coronas. Can't decide.
That is yesterday's news and disrespectful to re-publish today. :)
