Just got back from walking Nacho with a cracker crumb, 22nd wedding anniversary tonight, went to our favorite seafood place and had a great time. Looking forward to nothing to do tomorrow may have some mimosas in the morning before football. Heart-shaped pancakes are a possibility

October 2 is … Name Your Car Day
Unfortunately, many people do not think about naming their cars. Name Your Car Day has been set aside especially for those of you who may have forgotten this little ritual.
It’s very common for people to name their boats so why is it that some people forget to name their car? Let’s face it, our cars do a lot for us and many of us would be lost without them so why not take the time to think of a good name for your daily companion. If it weren’t for him/her how would you get to work? How would you go shopping? How would you take the kids to soccer practice?
Yes, they are always there for us whenever we need them. Who could ask for more dependability than this.
On Name Your Car Day take the time to choose a name that your car will be proud of.
-

Funny, I name all my cars, first one was a '66 Ford Gallaxy 500, named it The Ford Green, last truck was a super duty F-359 named Big Red and current one cane already named "The Little Ranger". Land Cruiser is simply The Cruiser.

SAN FRANCISCO — The Latest on Vin Scully’s final broadcast for the Los Angeles Dodgers:
2 p.m.
Vin Scully is sharing the booth with members of his extended family.
He says having them around is quite a way to celebrate the last game of his 67-year career. Scully and wife Sandi have five children, 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
With the camera on him, Scully turned to his brood and told them it was time for him to go back to work.
