Any cigar deals on the various internet sites that are worth talking about? Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour a drink and welcome aboard!

Beer Festival
-------------------------

After a Beer Festival in London, all the brewery presidents decided to
go out for a beer.

Corona's president sits down and says, "Señor, I would like the
world's best beer, a Corona." The bartender takes a bottle from the
shelf and gives it to him.

Then Budweiser's president says, "I'd like the best beer in the world,
give me 'The King Of Beers', a Budweiser." The bartender gives him
one.

Coors' president says, "I'd like the best beer in the world, the only
one made with Rocky Mountain spring water, give me a Coors." He gets
it.

The guy from Guinness sits down and says, "Give me a Coke." The other
brewery presidents look over at him and ask, "Why aren't you drinking
a Guinness?"

The Guinness president replies, "Well, if you guys
aren't drinking beer, neither will I."

I just went looking too.  The best alternative I could find without spending too much time searching was http://www.on-this-day.com/.  It's not as clean as the Yahoo site was though.

I was just at the Trop two weeks ago.  I was impressed by the cigar shop.  Actually had a decent selection.  Keep in mind that my expectations were really low.  Saw a couple of guys smoking cigars at the tables but didn't see this lounge you speak of.  Keep me posted for the next time I go.

It's called the Rumba Lounge, big open circular bar surrounded by the section of tables where they allow smoking so you must have been close. The place has great air movement so it never gets smokey

The shop has a very good selection, did you go around the corner to the left from the first humidor in the wine shop? They have a ton of cigars, Illusione, Pepins and the like. Not sure about Tatuaje

Just have to get lucky, bottom line.

Funny story last year there was a black guy at the craps table with us and he was betting big and he was very animated. When he won, which he did a lot, he'd scream out "Ray Rice". If you were rolling and hit what he wanted he'd give you $50 in chips and tell you to go buy a steak, he was hilarious

LALTS!  I'm usually a corners guy, pick 2 or 3 #s and put a couple on each corner surrounding it
I usually just pick a loser and get it over with.
Sounds like your wife's strategy  ;D
POTD - DAMN that was good!
Indeed!  You really hung that one over the plate.
If you were here we would've raced to the finish line on that one

Dean, you still sleeping in after the dinner-3some last night?   ;)
It took a lot out of him, he's probably low on fluids. He should move a few times a year
You saying he emptied the tank last night, possibly even more than once?   ;D
Who knows, trying to give the benefit of the doubt. More likely that the stronger wifi shit the bed
I don't think Deano really needs any benefit of the doubt.

Let's not start talking about Dean's fluids.  No black lights in this place.... just give him some electrolytes.
If Dean keeps up this pace he'll have to start giving out parting gift baskets like Jeter

Dean, you still sleeping in after the dinner-3some last night?   ;)
It took a lot out of him, he's probably low on fluids. He should move a few times a year
Let's not start talking about Dean's fluids.  No black lights in this place.... just give him some electrolytes.
If Dean keeps up this pace he'll have to start giving out parting gift baskets like Jeter
Man you are rolling today, have some starbucks?

Mr. Bryant it has come to our attention that many of the elderly women in the park, as well as others outside it's limits are in possesion of a gift basket which we understand includes but is not limited to, a cookie, gatorade, bacitracin, cat treats, guilt, shame, bingo chips and a "Deano" rewards punch-card for repeat business. good morning guys, just saw this:

I'm heading to Atlantic City this afternoon with my BIL for a Police convention, The Tropicana has a very nice cigar shop so I always look forward to picking up something I haven't tried. They have a smoking area of the casino with a lounge so it's pretty good
Nice. Remember to always bet on black.
Haha! My BIL says that's the first thing he's doing, putting $100 on black when he gets there
Only so Fish could take it out of context and demonstrate his usual lack of intelligence ;D
That's why we love him.
We Do????????
Yes...yes you do. We even get to meet this year!
Just make sure you give him the wrong address for the rental house.
It's like you're readin' my mind man!

Your taxacrat friends at work.   Only Florida would remain viable for the on-line cigar industry and it is at risk.

How the back treating ya?
Not bad, the nerve will take some time to "calm down" the rest of the way but it's all clear around it so I can resume normal activities in another week, start exercising again etc...

How do you plead?
now, that there's funny! did you have help?  :D

Looks like Philly is becoming the new Oregon... Gotta be no question now that they are going to do their best to draft Mariota
They just picked up another Duck in a trade with New England.  CJ Spiller, released from Bills also reached out to the birds.

Make's sense for Spiller, since the McCoy trade. Can't believe that one. He will certainly thrive in Buffalo.

Time to get that suit dry cleaned.  Good Luck!
Debating on what to wear right now.  Either a suit or nice navy blazer.  Both with tie and dress shirt/pants
SUIT - dark color with white shirt unless navy then a dress blue shirt is ok!!!!!!!    Shine your shoes and wipe your azz too. :)
I am going to get the shoes all spiffed up today!
Good idea, buff the boy-butter off of them

I have to disagree with that scenario, the first interview is what they remember about you and if you fail the first there will not be a re-take.  If good fortune brings a second interview come up with a different suit and tie.......   Look the best you  possibly can when you walk in the door the first time and every other time until your 2nd day on the job.

Morning, Humpopotamuses
GMornin Steve

Hey, Shaun. You crankin' out some cover letters this morning?
He's gonna be crankin' somethin' just as soon as the Mrs leaves for work.
Ohh she gone  ;)
Now I threw up.
It's ok, guess who has 2 thumbs and just got called for an interview at 10:30a tomorrow!!!!!
Time to get that suit dry cleaned.  Good Luck!
Debating on what to wear right now.  Either a suit or nice navy blazer.  Both with tie and dress shirt/pants
Save the suit for the follow-up interview.
I have to disagree with that scenario, the first interview is what they remember about you and if you fail the first there will not be a re-take.  If good fortune brings a second interview come up with a different suit and tie.......   Look the best you  possibly can when you walk in the door the first time and every other time until your 2nd day on the job.
I think he should wear torn jeans and a Kanye West t-shirt or one with a pot leaf on it.  Don't dazzle them with your beauty, dazzle 'em with your sparkling personality.  Oh man, Shaun is fucked!
Maybe a Katy Perry fish costume!?!?!
Wonder what Gaga did with that meat dress?
didn't she grill it and feed the homeless?

Don't give a wit about hispanics vs gringos vs asians vs whatevers.  Texas is still part of the US (for now), so they all need to speak English.  I'd damn sure learn the native language of a country to which I moved.  Grinds my gears when immigrants aren't willing to adapt to their chosen new home and would rather make it into their former home.  Sheesh, enough of this, time to get back to earning some dough.

Who pissed in your huevos rancheros?
Tony did.  I wasn't going to speak any Spanish today, but Tony started it.  It's okay - eventually the Hispanics will outnumber the Gringos, and then they'll be saying, "Muele mis engranajes cuando los Gringos no están dispuestos a adaptarse a su nuevo hogar elegido y prefieren hacerlo en su antiguo hogar."

But that may be a little after Mark's time. ;-)

Good morning, smart and accomplished folks!  And hello to you pieces of garbage in Texas and on the east coast, too.
Good morning you pompous west coast douche bag!

Indeed.  We're better than you and we know it.  Morning, Scott.  Got some gnarly whiskey breath this morning, but nothing a little coffee can't hide.
I tried some Horny Goat Black Vanilla IPA, very interesting combo and I'll buy it again. Nice vanilla flavor

I need to try some new beers, been sticking with the favorites lately.  Do you get Modern Times out there?  Smaller San Diego brewery.  I've been in to some of their stuff in recent months.  They make a nice, lighter coffee stout.  Only 6% ABV or so, maybe a little under that, but it comes in cans so it's easy to just drink a couple of those at a BBQ or something.

leave the left coasters alone, after the big one, Nevada to Idaho will be the west coast.
Guess we can feel sorry for the pacific fish population when that dump comes dwon on them.

LMAO!  When we break away, the first thing I'm doing is selling my new beach front, island property.  Second thing is jumping on the first plane to Texico.  I'd consider New Jersey but they don't have taquitos.
we do have a new Moe's opening not far from the Walmart on route 46  http://www.moes.com/find-a-moes/ (http://www.moes.com/find-a-moes/) Saddle Brook NJ!

there are a couple out this way, two in Penn Station on different levels, but this one ig going in where the "old San Juan" restaurant used to be.  was several chinese restaurants first. then the place with the mofongo, now they pretty much gutted the place and it will open in a day or two.  alas no taquitos on the menu, but what they do have looks pretty good, for fast food.  really cheap fast food McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger king, Wendys..and their ilk do OK, and seem to be recession proof.  slightly upscale not so much...

Disagree.  This is single elimination, not a best of three series.  If you don't win on day one, no need to plan for day 2.  Heck, wear the suit and if it's your only one, head to Men's Warehouse after the interview and get another.

Flip, have you had the Gurkha thats on the CI deal today? That blend sounds great, but I dont trust all the print sent out by Gurkha.
Doesn't 10/$27.50 and only 66% off give you any clue?
Only 66% off tells me they have a lot of faith in it!
no, it says they didn't start the cigar in the $20 to $30 dollar a stick MSRP range.
That's my concern.

As a public service announcement.
my lunch menu, I made a packaged teriyaki beef ramen noodle and added a can of octopus in a reddish olive oil sauce to it.  washed it down with zero calorie 1/2 tea, 1/2 lemonade drink.
Can't you say Arnold Palmer?

LOL

That pic just illustrates that 'rednecks' aren't exclusive to any region. That, right there is Redneck. Like making a pool by throwing a tarp in the back of a pu truck and filling with the yard hose. Haha

I purchased those V's from the mash and the estimated date of arrival is March 16th.   How fuct up can they get????

Takes longer to ship to Mexico... idk
LOL!  THIRD BASE!
LOL, I actually got that!
I tend to over-explain things and it took everything in me to leave that post as is.  My job here is done.
They fire your azz?
Damn, Dave.  All this vitriol because I posted two little sentences in Spanish?
It was the 3rd base that got ya in the shithouse.  :) but I still appreciate the good things you do!
I just meant that Steve's poking of the lion, via that Mexico comment, was gonna get you all riled up again.  Like in the Abbott and Costello routine.

See, Sam?  I did it again... Me and my biiiiiiiiiig mouth!
Overexplaining again!

One of our more worthless admin people quit and here was her parting statement:

I think this is a great workplace and some great opportunities within WXYZ , “if you’re an Engineer”.

Sincerely,
Deb
I always wanted to drive a train...you have an opening there?
11 openings but a hiring freeze is an issue.   Oh yeah, wrong kind of engineer.
We don't have a freeze, we have a "frost"....fukkin' HR doublespeak.

OK, all caught up, reports sent, time to blow this Popsicle stand.  Hit the hotel for a beverage, a cigar and some dinner.

so I smoked an OOO for lunch,  what to do for the ride home.
I may look for something to smoke too.  I think it's supposed to be almost 50° out there.  Worst case scenario, I'm driving to the NJ office tomorrow and I'll have a breakfast smoke.
Odds are against you driving anywhere tomorrow morning.
I thought the snow was coming later.  I guess we'll see.
I see now, that's not the case.  Therefore I will take advantage and light something up immediately.  Later, gents.
We're full service here Mr. Mayor, employment agency, gun and alcohol appraisal, weather, psychological counceling, marriage councelors, Penthouse Forum article review, general advice...
And as of yesterday we now cover penis specifications.
But we're equal opportunity.  We'll happily provide varina farms specifications and details as needed or requested.

Cold has arrived, temp fell 10 degrees while I was driving home.  Chit I hate cold weather.  Wind blowing 20-25 with some rain now.
Bean is going to be happy to hear that.
Oh yeah very happy just like me.
Oh happy happy, joy joy!
Supposed to roll into the east coast about midnight.  Know what I'll be doing when I get home Friday morning.  6-12" forecast.
You should just stay in CA till it melts.
I've given it considerable thought.

I guess she was talking to me, so I obliged her.  She even had a mini Magic Wand Vibrator that recharges by sticking it into a usb port.  Now how would you like to see that thing hanging off the side of your laptop...?

And who ever heard of a vibrator that recharges with a usb port...?  I asked my wife, "where do you plug this thing in to recharge it...?"  She said, "I use my cigarette usb adaptor."  I said, "You got this thing hanging out of your cigarette lighter in your car..?"  Then she said, "no it's my e-cigarette adaptor."
