Post by: CigarBanter on February 13, 2015, 12:01:08 AM
HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Unless you're working on Saturday, then what's the big deal about Fridays?  Hopefully you'll get to enjoy the long weekend.  Otherwise, perhaps some cigar deals will help ya get through it.  Share what you know in this forum and perhaps learn something about cigars along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour your favorite beverage and welcome aboard!

Tied Rope
-------------------------

Back a few years ago, I went over to my neighbors house.(She was a blonde), and for some reason she was mad at the world. She had locked herself in the bathroom and was threatening suicide.
I said, "Come on, you know you don't want to do this!"

She said, "I damn well do wanna do this, nobody wants me alive anyways."

For some reason I actually believed her and pushed through the door, and saw she had a rope tied to around her ankles.
I asked "Are you really trying to hang yourself?"

"Yeah, so what?"

"Well, usually when people hang themselves they tie the rope around their necks"

"Yeah, well, I tried that, but then I couldn't breathe."

Just a good reminder to be careful what you wish for!

World's first penis REDUCTION surgery: Teenager requested op after his manhood grew so large it stopped him having sex

17-year-old complained his penis was too large, stopping him have sex
It measured 7ins in length and had a circumference of 10ins when flaccid
Despite the size, his penis did not grow when erect - it just became firmer
Surgeon said: 'It's girth was just massive' and was shaped like rugby ball
Doctors didn't take post op measurements but said it was still 'generous'
'It was a life-changing event, he's all smiles,' urologist told MailOnline

World's first penis REDUCTION surgery: Teenager requested op after his manhood grew so large it stopped him having sex

17-year-old complained his penis was too large, stopping him have sex
It measured 7ins in length and had a circumference of 10ins when flaccid
Despite the size, his penis did not grow when erect - it just became firmer
Surgeon said: 'It's girth was just massive' and was shaped like rugby ball
Doctors didn't take post op measurements but said it was still 'generous'
'It was a life-changing event, he's all smiles,' urologist told MailOnline

Looks like CB got his azz scolded for acting like us and calling Fred and Fans douchbags in jest. LOL
Yes, well they respect others over there (pretty much), and don't talk about unimportant things like lunch and guns....
I have news for you AND them... Both sites are nothing but bullshit.  I thought that was the whole point.  Good morning again, fellas.
Yeah, but at least we don't have separators here. Morning Tony.
d
That's what some folks like about CI's site.  To each, his own.  Good to see ya, Dave.
And the good thing is we all now have choices available to please our preferences.

You're more easy going when you're telecommuting.  ;)
No assholes annoying the shit out of me and my Fuk'n computers work when teleworking!   I am telling you that incompetent dysfunctional computer shit at work is driving me batshit crazy.  I also work with 55 total dipstick idiots, don't even have a single person that I care to visit or have lunch with.  Terrible atmosphere.

It is Mardi Gras Season and I was just reminiscing and revered about 4 years ago when I worked in our MO office I today a non-murican bitch that grew up in Louisiana Happy Fat Tuesday and she filed a grievance against me for calling her fat and insulting her in front of others.  Wonder why I hate my job?   For those that may not be familiar with Mardi Gras traditions Fat Tuesday is the correct name of the grand Finale celebration always on Tuesday.

I have to say I don't understand the classification parameters, are we above any subject here for the most part? Jeez, just talk and have fun, I guess that's the reason for what has turned out to be a very natural separation

On a sadder note I got to head out and take my dog to get an ultrasound to find out what appears to be some kind of tumor on his leg is all about.  Appreciate some prayers for Magnum.
Not really the praying type, but I'll definitely keep up hope for a bit of good news.

HAPPY FRIDAY!
What timing!  Good Friday Morning CG.  Is it my payday or yours?
Today is yours - but the wifes PTO from her old job hit today, so that's a nice x4 multiplier for her paycheck!
Good but mine will not have any extra X's.  Nice for her though.
It's almost like a mirage - good to have, but now she starts back at 0.  Just setting it aside, wonder if she would notice if a new cigar box arrived ;)
Will not know unless you try.  Maybe disguise it with some feet. :)
SHEESH!
LMFAO - just holding up our no-respect reputation ;)
Understandable, time to go toast my bagel!
Make sure to do your part and talk about lunch.  Hope Raz show up to cover guns for us.
Hot Dogs and some lemon pepper fish today - going to Qdoba with a short stop at Home Depot
So your hot dog is going to smell fishy?

A New Jersey judge ordered the return of $1.5 million to a casino from gamblers who won at a table game after realizing the cards had not been shuffled.

State Superior Court Judge Donna Taylor ruled in favor of the Golden Nugget casino in its dispute with 14 gamblers who say it was not there fault the cards were not shuffled and should be allowed to keep their winnings.

A mini-baccarat game is where the trouble started in April 2012. The casino was using decks of cards that paid a manufacturer to pre-shuffle, but the deck at hand was not shuffled. Once the gamblers realized the cards were not shuffled, they increased their bets from $10 to $5,000 and proceeded to win 41 straight hands.

Judge Taylor said the games were illegal under state law because they did not conform to the state's gambling regulations.

"The dealer did not pre-shuffle the cards immediately prior to the commencement of play, and the cards were not pre-shuffled in accordance with any regulation," the judge wrote. "Thus, a literal reading of the regulations ... entails that the game violated the (Casino Control) Act, and consequently was not authorized."

The Golden Nugget casino bought what were supposed to be pre-shuffled cards from a Kansas City Manufacturer. The manufacturer did acknowledge it failed to shuffle the cards. The litigation between the manufacturer and the casino was resolved, but a confidentiality agreement prevents details from being revealed.

Actor Brad Renfro, the 18-year-old actor best known for his co-starring role in the movie "The Client", and a buddy allegedly tried to steal a 45 foot yacht from its berth at a Ft. Lauderdale marina. Our smart guys got the big boat started and were on their way...almost. They forgot to untie the dock lines and when they tried to pull away, the ropes tightened and yanked the $175,000 boat back to the dock. Nearby boaters were awakened by the ruckus and held the actor and his friend until the police arrived.

He asked to see a couple guns, and the attendant left for a moment. The guy stole the guns. Not only was he video-taped, the police used the address on his application to go to his house and arrest him.

Golden Nugget?  I thought they closed down in A/C 30 years ago.  I had to Google it.  Turns out they bought the Trump Marina a few years back.  I rarely make my way down there.  I much prefer Vegas.  But let me get this straight... The casino gets their money back from the "winners" and then has the ability to sue the the manufacturer because the cards weren't pre-shuffled?

Not sure what they have there, but you may want to look for Casa Fernandez, Emilio, Room 101, RoMa Craft (especially Intemperance and Aquitaine), Aging Room (although not a real favorite of mine), Paul Garmirian, JdN Cabinetta, and of course Curivari.
I'm not sure either. they were closed last Sunday when I showed up. there's quite a few of the Room 101 series I haven't had. not since GregFish introduced them to me years ago. whatever trips my trigger when I get there. not sure how long the biker lady will want to hang out, she's a non-smoker but doesn't complain about smokers.

I like this article. If I was the winner, my only question would be, "is it possible, no matter how extreme the odds, to shuffle a deck of card back into it's original position...?"

That's a good plan, hopefully you win it big!  Just don't forget about us little guys! ;) Craps is my go-to game, hell, just watching is half the fun!(twBDs)  ;D
Love craps too but I won't be gambling on this trip.  No disposable cash at the moment.
don't forget the condoms, you don't wait to be paying college tuition forever! that's a bigger gamble.
What's a condom?

looks like a one finger glove, usually found in a foil or plastic wrapper. I think I last bought a box of 12 in 2009.  Apparently they are supposed to be kept in the nightstand drawer to age like cigars in a humidor.  but they do have expiration dates.  Menopause causes their need to be reduced.

I guess everyone knew to stay out of the room when they heard, “Blue 18, Green 32, hut, hut, hike.”

Good morning all.... I'm just reading a lurking.
How was your afternoon with your whiskey buddy yesterday?  Do any toastering?
Actually, I behaved myself very well for a change.
Sorry to hear that!
I guess I was a little off my game that day...
Smoke five "Pepin Blues" and ten "Our Fathers" and your sins will be absolved.  Yes, I can do that.  I'm a licensed preacher.  In a real church.  No, really.
So if we send you some cigars, we can write that off in our taxes as a tithe?
Yes.  I'll even send you a receipt for the IRS.

picking up the biker lady for grocery shopping (hers) and cigar shopping (mine).
later.
You're a good guy Dean!  What cigars you looking for?
something I haven't had before or what I wouldn't ordinarily purchase online.
I listed all those and will let you know what I end up with. thank you.

Bogart's in Dunnellon, Florida was a waste of time. they had CRAP for cigars. a lot of Acids, and a bunch of cheap generic Famous 2nds. gave the guy my list and he had never heard of any of them except he knew what JdN were. Tampa/Tarpon Springs tomorrow if the traffic doesn't piss me off too much.

I have to write my goals for the year.  They're due in the next couple of hours.  Here's what I got so far...

Effective Communications:
Login to CigarBanter.com on a daily basis and interact with fellow degenerates for 6 hours per day discussing anything except cigars.  We can effectively measure how well I'm doing by the number of folks offended by my posts.  (Updated it to be more specific.  They like that.)

...If I do it for 8 hours per day I will be sure to exceed expectations.   ;D

So let me see if I understand, Anthony...You're proposing to allocate three quarters of your work hours to collaborating with other subject matter experts and streamline staffing by encouraging those who feel threatened by plain-talk to pursue other opportunities within the corporate structure.  Do I have that right?

Allow me to congratulate you for your initiative, Tony.  We've decided to make you a vice-president.

Bogart's in Dunnellon, Florida was a waste of time. the had CRAP for cigars. a lot of Acids, and a bunch of cheap generic Famous 2nds. gave the guy my list and he had never heard of any of them except he know what JdN were. Tampa/Tarpon Springs tomorrow if the traffic doesn't piss me off too much.
Moral of the story, don't bogart a crap cigar, go to tampon springs and piss on traffic.
Thanks for the recap.  LOL!
Clearly, work is providing me insufficient cognitive stimulation.

Ooh! you do quite an effective spin.....

Cusano 18 year maduro toro while hot Italian sausage slow cooks on the grill with peppers and onions.
Giving me heartburn on the other side of the country.  Throw another on, I'll catch a flight.

got 6 so there's plenty.
I swear, one of these days I'm going say that, wait for you to invite me, then come rolling into your trailer park five minutes later on my Harley just to mess with your head.
Just have a live camera feed going so we can see the 'mind blown' facial expression in real life.
Or better yet, we all go to FL, then show up one day - banter is dead quiet, Dean posting, no one responding...we all roll in!
No, we have to post, to lull him into a false sense of security, I'll bring the gurkha... ::)

Possible I did too, in San Francisco in the mid-1980's.   You could still catch burlesque shows then.

Speaking of burlesque, I was channel-surfing last night and the movie "Burlesque" with Cher and Christina Aguilera was on.  I watched a few minutes of it.  It actually seemed like a pretty good movie.  It at least gave me a small amount of respect for Christina Aguilera.  Small amount.

Nor mine, but still, she can be entertaining, if there's a good director calling the shots.

Cher doing "Last of Me" really worked.  Still not my preferred musical style, but she could sing that song with real conviction.

Rags, gas stations and supermarkets have the best deal on roses, around $28 a dozen for long stemmed red roses.
Pathmark has long stemmed red roses at $19.99 a dozen this week!

Which is to say, "money, the answer is money..."  Any warden that wants the kids and doesn't want the husband will gladly take the money in lieu of the husband, more so if they don't want the kids either.  But the notion of two people with no respect left for each other sticking around just so there are two parents in the house, I'll confess, I don't get that one. I know the religious views that kind of thinking is often attributed to, but both Catholics and Protestants focus on the redemption of the marriage.  When it's come to mutual misery-making, the religious requirements have already broken down.  Then it's just about the money.

And...I dunno...I'm obviously Lucky Raz in that the Warden and I still like each other after nearly 26 years, and I still like to see her nekkid...but were it not so I'm thinking I could live quite nicely on the streets if it meant I didn't have to endure the misery.

But we all see the world differently.

That's the talent of hers that I'm most impressed with.
And she managed to look good in the movie, too.  Lately, she just looks like she's been rid hard and put away wet.
Understood.  But it's all relative.  It still looks better than what I have waiting for me at home.  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, DEAR!
Ouch.  Jayzus, Tony...if it's come to that you need to consider your options.

Christ, now I have to buy three dozen roses for the warden.
Tony misery loves company.... I've probably got you beat by the pound on wardens....
Rags, gas stations and supermarkets have the best deal on roses, around $28 a dozen for long stemmed red roses.
Pathmark has long stemmed red roses at $19.99 a dozen this week!
+1 on the supermarkets

don't look if you're under 65 tears old and/or have a weak stomach.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/02/12/living/cnnphotos-burlesque-legends/index.html
I'm under 65, but I have a strong stomach, and I have reached an age where I can see that some of those women were real mind-blowers in their day.

I may have seen a few of them growing up.
You've been hanging around BD too much I think.

OK, all caught up, where'd everybody go?
Dave, found Victory at Sea in 6-packs today
You drank one yet?
Of course, on #2 now. Delicious but not cheap as you know, not complaining though it's the one beer I've been wanting to find
Hey luxury don't come cheap!   I pay $13.99/6 for Sculpin it's not more than that is it?
They're both $14.99 here
That is a touch on the high side but what the hell I just poured a Sculpin to drink with you.
Fantastic, I'm about to ask my son to grab another for me

No I haven't, told myself not to until I saw the surgeon yesterday and he said my incision had healed well so it was basically self imposed. Weather is now freezing so it'll probably be next week before I burn one.

Fat chance, working from home with the kid. They're off for President's Day so smoking seems unlikely. Later in the week when it warms up is possible for a shorty
