Guys are coming by this morning to measure the kitchen for a quote to replace the floor. Supposed to be here between now and 10:30.

Tile?

No, ceramic tile is what we have now and I despise it. This will be a vinyl plank.

He arrived a couple minutes ago, so at least he can tell time. That's a good start.

And it's a white ceramic tile, so the instant even a crumb gets on it, it's visible, which drives me nuts. Especially with 3 kids. The new one is grayish with a hint of brown.

I agree on the colors. I know technology is better today but I didn't have much luck in the kitchen with "wood" laminate. I used ceramic tile but looks like wood planks in the foyer (mudroom) and vinal plank in the attic and both are much better. Did the attic floors myself and that was huge pain in the ass.

Looks like a job well done. And since the ceramic tile will likely have to be removed, this is something I'm happy to pay someone else to do. Well, assuming the quote isn't astronomical. But even if it is, I might consider it. I really hate that floor.

The other leader is working at the King County Fair, which started this week. It's okay, I need her to cover a week for me in August.

This gig is how I pay for guns, ammo, and cigars. I don't complain.

I have laminate in all my bathrooms and the sunroof.  Should have done it instead of wood in the rest of the house. Wood is a mess.
