Close Shave
-------------------------

A man enters a barbershop for a shave. While
the barber is foaming him up, he mentions the
problems he has getting a close shave around
the cheeks.

"I have just the thing," says the barber taking
a small wooden ball from a nearby drawer. "Just
place this between your cheek and gum."

The client places the ball in his mouth and
the barber proceeds with the closest shave the
man has ever experienced. After a few strokes,
the client asks in garbled speech, "And what
if I swallow it?"

"No problem," says the barber. "Just bring
it back tomorrow like everyone else does."

Time to head to work.  It's damn Monday and office meeting day then got to go to San Antonio for a meeting this afternoon which means late getting home.

BBL
Your place likes to have meetings as much as Tony's place.
That is very true but unlike Tony I am in the KMA Club and just don't go to most of them.  Unfortunately I have to attend the monthly office meeting 1st monday of each month if I am in town.

Morning Yellow Star and Mr. Mayor
Good morning, CADave.
Not until late tonight.
Why even bother?  You're going to travel three time zones away for less than 48 hours?
Got to be home to see you Tony!
Y'all are one time zone mofos at best.
What area are you staying in this week Mark?
Wed night over in PA, Montgomery area.  Thursday night over in NJ, some place called the White Whale Inn.
I think you'll be really comfortable there, it's the obvious choice for you!

Morning Scott.
Andy's already trying to make out his shopping list for food at CF this year, he has like 10 chickens so he'll bring fresh eggs
A guy with chickens in Joisey? Now I've heard it all.
I had Chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits all in New York City.
well Staten Island, technically it is NYC.  Plymouth Rocks, Rhode Island Reds,
and a special banty hen that laid greenish blueish eggs.  The reds gave brown eggs
the others white.
good morning guys...

Well the Warden insisted on driving, with a terrible allergy effects to her eyes.
Considering that she had no idea where we were going (JFK Airport - she just knew it wasn't Newark!).
or how to get there, it wasn't a major problem.  We left at 4pm, at 27 miles later at 6pm we got there.
No arguments, we let the voice of  Annabelle Lee - our navigation system tell us where to go.
it cuts out the arguing with me, over my choice of route.
Traffic on GWB, CBE and VWE.  Took Belt Parkway home, then VNB to SIE and Bayonne Bridge.
Coming there we saw an overturned dump truck on VWE Northbound, so I
said turn off the navigation, I'll get us home.  It was so much fun watching
wife drive, constantly adjusting the visor from front to side to keep the
sun out of her watering eyes. right hand wheel, left for tissue/visor.
they got to London OK, missed the connection for Killarny Ireland, had a 4 hour delay.
I told Gabrielle to keep the data OFF on her phone while in Europe.

we bought our eggs in the store, when my dad saw that people wanted to buy fresh
eggs from us, he sold them at twice the store price. back then maybe $1.50 a dozen.
Mom did use duck eggs once, when she was making pasta, very tasty & very yellow.
some times we would get some double yolks.  Goose egg was the size of a small nerf football.

With all the packing and prep for her school trip, nobody dyed eggs, no baskets of
Easter Candy, no peeps or jelly beans or robins eggs.  I think I'm stopping at
Duane Reade on the way home. I did roast a boneless leg of lamb on the grill yesterday
with a white truffle risotto, and sauteed Broccoli rabe.  At 9:30 am yesterday, Nadine said, can you
go to the Italian bakery and get the Easter bread.  She didn't know the the hardboiled eggs in the
braid of the bread were edible.  I got two sfinge as well.

The fresh egg's yolks are much deeper yellow and the shells are thicker and they just taste better, especially if you're going to "undercook" like soft-boiling of over easy

EF school trips, guess it was cheaper on the original unextended itinerary,
to fly in and out of the same city, with with the flights to Ireland just an added route.
but they extended it with 2 days in Paris, so they fly into london, shuttle to Shannon, then

Just had to go to BBY to get more printer ink - I swear these fuckers print like 50 pages before I'm another $15 poorer!
Lot easier than an oil change.
Buy your ink from someone other than Canon, HP or Epson!

That's why they gladly sell u a nice printer for $59
it is cheaper to buy a new printer than to buy all the cartridges
for a color inkjet. not environmentally friendly, just cheaper!

Hi Flip!  Had someone gift me a Warlord and I remembered our conversation.  this one was the 60 rg one and although It's still a bit big, it was pretty good too!  I remember liking the 56 or 58 rg one i had from the sampler, and this one was pretty similar.  definitely need to have a couple of hours dedicated to it, but worked out well Friday night on the porch.

some of the things we do, last week, besides buying some foreign currency with Gabrielle,
taught her banking necessities.  She has a debit card, she uses for Amazon purchases, tied to
a kids checking account(no fees, no minimum balance).  her mother opened it with her. she had
never deposited money into it. took her to the bank to deposit cash and checks, she had been sitting on
since her birthday.  Girl had more cash than me.  Anyway made sure she learned how to use her debit
card at an ATM.  she wasn't sure what her passcode was, better she try out the wrong ones here,
rather than in London or Paris. She got it on the 2nd try. Also had to tell the bank she might use
the ATM card in London or Paris, or Wales or Ireland.   didn't remember doing this with the first two kids

That's because they didn't have "lending institutions" back then, they had banks who actually tried to help you save and use money.

Actually, we have the nice bank that stays open late and does the free coin counting
any has lots of pens on the desk to take with you, plus the lollipops both purple and green.
No bank gives you any interest to speak of.  remember when they use to give away blenders,
toasters, color TV's when you opened an account. and you got 4-5% interest too!

Yeah.  See, my house is spitting-distance from the bridge, and it's closed in both directions.  The next crossing of the river is 30 minutes drive to the west.  So when all is said and done, 40 minutes is added on to my commute in each direction.  I'll leave work at a little before 5:00pm, will arrive at my vehicle by 6:15, if the traffic on Interstate 5 is kind.  I'll get home around 7pm, best-case, if the traffic doesn't tie up in the detour route.  Not fun.

These have Tony's name all over them!

Krispy Kreme is trying three campfire-inspired new doughnuts on a trial basis at participating stores, including all four in the metropolitan Columbia area.

A “dirt cake” variety is filled with Oreo cookie crumbles, dipped in chocolate and topped with more Oreo crumbles and a gummy candy worm, the North Carolina-based company said in a statement.

A “S-mores” doughnut is filled with a blend of toated marshmellow cream, dipped in chocolate and topped with graham cracker crumbles and chocolate chips and white icing.

A “honey bee” offering is dipped in yellow icing with a candy sugar piece.

The new variety went on sale at some stores Monday and will be offered through May 17 at all South Carolina stores, a company spokeswoman said.

Good evening ...  Just thought I'd check in to let everyone know that I'm still around.  I've been having allot of computer problems that has been keeping me off of the internet.  I'm using the Explorer browser, and also GoogleChrome.  Both keep giving me the error, "webpage not responding."  The other day the computer wouldn't even boot up.  It seems to be working at the moment, so I thought I'd say hi while I could. :)

Hi back, BD.  FYI, you're getting errors because this website sucks.

I believe it might be a Windows 7 problem.  I've read where others have had the same problem, and they said it was a corrupt Windows driver or *.dll.  Today I was trying to burn a dvd and I got an I/O error. Anyway, I have some things I want to do on the computer before I take any drastic action such as reloading Windows (if I can figure that one out), or run one of Microsofts repair programs.

Raz, did you make it home ok?
I did. Got home a little before 7pm.

It's just an inconvenience, not a danger.

But thanks for your concern, Mr. Mayor. Very kind of you.
