But they are still offering super deals on the FU

Steve R, unless something changed in the last two years, is still there and running the operation.  Though considering the recent chgs over there, perhaps he is not longer in charge.

He posted on here a good while back and when folks hit him about the crappy Jams since he left he said it was out of his control so I hardly think he is running the operation.

Pretty sure he was the big boss.  I recall his response about the jams being that he didn't run those anymore.  I met him at CFest, seemed like a nice enough guy.  He gave me a stick they were planning to roll out and wanted my thoughts.  I eventually did and tossed it about half-way.  It was lousy.

last I knew when I talked to him he pushed the 5 Vegas line as a CI house blend. he was also trying to get small cigar people, AJ, Johnson, etc to roll exclusives for CI. similar to what Alex was doing at CCom.

You may be correct, but I guess I was giving it some more credibility by not actually mentioning the CincoVegas brand...

last I knew when I talked to him he pushed the 5 Vegas line as a CI house blend. he was also trying to get small cigar people, AJ, Johnson, etc to roll exclusives for CI. similar to what Alex was doing at CCom.

It may have been a 5V he gave me at CF, but I don't remember, as it was not a memorable stick.

We (LTG, Andy, Rocco) hung out with him at the Daniel Marshall event before CFest last year, really nice guy, I like him. We gave him a few cigars which he was hesitant to accept. He helped Andy out big time because the jackass forgot his tickets and was going to drive home to get them that night. Steve got in touch with the lady running the tickets and looked him up online and saved him a trip, good dude in my book
