Have I ever mentioned that I once drove nut busses? When I was finishing college I drove school busses for Tucson Unified School district. When you're low man on the totem pole, you get a lot of special-needs runs. Autistic kids, profoundly developmentally disabled, kids that have to be restrained and wear helmets, spitters, shit-flingers, tourettes, third-graders with bona-fide homicidal tendencies, cutters, runners, molesters...you name it, I drove it in a 40-foot bus.
Oh, guess I should include the high-school girl who was trading BJs for cocaine. That was pretty nutty, too.
So...yeah, I've driven nut busses.
