Morning all.  Sitting on a plane in your nations capital waiting to catch ebola.
Will be down there tomorrow picking up my DIL.
Watch out for ebola.
I'll try to minimize my bodily fluid contact for sure!

The kids were very funny yesterday.  I took one of those cheep balsa wood toy airplanes over too them. It's the one with the propeller and rubber band motor that you wind up and fly.  After a few flights, it flew right up into a tree branch and got stuck.  We couldn't reach it, so I put on my super pawap thinking cap, and decided that if we pull my truck into the yard, we could get into the back of the truck, and if I hold up my granddaugher she could get it with a stick.  So we did.  I gave my 5 year old granddaughter a big stick and held her up to the plane while standing in the back of the truck.  She swung as hard as she could and hit it like a pinata.  Well, I guess everyone can guess what happens when you hit very thin balsa wood with a big stick.  I swear, I never saw that one coming...!!!  :)

While watching a commercial on tv for Twizzlers Bites (red licorice filled with sweet and sour goodness), my wife asked me, "would you like to have some of those...?"  I sure did, they looked great and I couldn't wait for her to buy some that night when at work...!  The next day she gave me a sack with Jolly Ranchers, something completely different.  I didn't say anything because I knew it would start a fight.  But I swear she's going to drive me coo coo...!!!  I'm not sure what's going to happen when she retires and we're together 24 hours a day.. yikes..!!!  :o

Petey the parakeet decided to come out of his cage yesterday.  After sitting on my finger in the livinging room, he jumped off and took off flying.  He made a left turn and went into the kitchen and disappeared.  My wife looked in the kitchen and was mad at me because she said he was gone.  A few minutes later we started hearing noises coming from our kitchen cabnets.  The doors on our kitchen cabnets slide open, and were slightly open.  He apparntly few right into the cabnet.  I told my granddaughter and she said, "he must have been looking for a glass to get a drink of water..!"  He hopped onto my wife's finger and when she walked back into the living room, he jumped off and flew into his cage.  So far he hasn't wanted to come back out of his cage.

Good morning, gents.  Well, for some of us.  Not for this lady...

@Joe, if you're lurking, I feel badly for her even though I didn't know her.
