Woke up,early but slept late.  Storms woke me up during the early hours then went back to sleep about 4:30.  Just woke up again and enjoying a hot cup of Cuban espresso.

3.5" of rain here yesterday and last night  but up to 1o" in some areas.  Got water running 3 feet deep over I-35 South of here in the San Marcus area.  Several hundred homes flooded down that way.  Our lake came up 12 feet in 24 hours which is a great thing, it is 25 feet higher than this time last year but still 34 feet below full.

3.5" of rain here yesterday and last night  but up to 1o" in some areas.  Got water running 3 feet deep over I-35 South of here in the San Marcus area.  Several hundred homes flooded down that way.  Our lake came up 12 feet in 24 hours which is a great thing, it is 25 feet higher than this time last year but still 34 feet below full.

The old saying "be careful of what you ask for", to bad Mother Nature wants to catch you guys up all at once.

That is right but historically that is the only way it works in the Texas Hill Country.  Draught or Flood are the only two choices.
