I'm actually heading to the orthodontist in town now for a consultation. Let's see if they can do better for both sons than the $13k quote I got from another.

This place came in about $3600 cheaper and it's right across the street from their school.

Well, that's good news. But still, damn.

I was basing that on the figure my wife had originally told me. Now that I am comparing the actual written estimates it's about $750 savings per kid for a total of $1500. That's still significant. Plus the convenience that I won't have to drive them to their appointments.
