So anyway... had a Fuente 8-5-8 Sungrown last night. Not bad, not great. Incredibly "rustic" looking wrapper underneath the cedar sleeve. Always kinda like when a cigar looks like that, reminds you that they're truly hand made. I liked the Sungrown as much as I liked the 8-5-8 Maduro and natural, which is to say it's a real nice 'any time' smoke, cheap enough to grab individually at the B&M.
I liked the complexity and bold flavors over the Maddy...but I got the Maddys for under 3/ea and these are $6/ea...still would like a box to sit down tho
I think my problem is that I don't like what extended time in a cedar wrapper does to a cigar. I never have, with the exception of the Anejos. Just makes it too dry and cedary. Imagine that.
