I keep seeing these cigars and want to know if the bolivar lonsdales or the CAO LX2 are any good?Morning, flip and all! Flip, someone mentioned the LX2 on here the other day. I believe it was Tony. The comments were not favorable, though. I have some very aged MX2's and they are pretty good, but I paid $2.00 per for them.

Quick afternoon, everybody. Nic. 5000 from Seamus, err, Famous. Noteworthy in that it's not dissimilar from Brick House's maduro. Figures since they're made by the same folks with similar components. Not as smooth or as well constructed, but not too far off, either.had a well aged 3000 yesterday myself. Afternoon JAC.

Dave did you ever eat at Nifias in Houston , some very good food , and the place next door is good too .A million times at the old place on Westheimer and they actually had one in Austin for a long time but closed about 5 or 6 years ago, location was terrible. Loved their green salsa and beef fajitas Chihuahua style with bacon and cheese. Great ninfaritas too. Have not been to one in a long time though. My favorite spot to hit in Houston now is Bayou City Seafood, Louisiana style place on Richmond.
I don't give a shit how it's cooked, I tried it twice, that was enough.Tofu can be very good , when it is cooked right ! . and yes I do like it ..I love it. all foods except tofu in fact.Hope you like Mexican food.exhausting me!No idea how many trailer parks but I travel around this place almost every week and it is bigger than most can imagineokay. do you know how many retirement communities/mobile home parks are in Texas? hi DD.
Mexican food for us here usually means Chuy's.Dave did you ever eat at Nifias in Houston , some very good food , and the place next door is good too .A million times at the old place on Westheimer and they actually had one in Austin for a long time but closed about 5 or 6 years ago, location was terrible. Loved their green salsa and beef fajitas Chihuahua style with bacon and cheese. Great ninfaritas too. Have not been to one in a long time though. My favorite spot to hit in Houston now is Bayou City Seafood, Louisiana style place on Richmond.
I used to love those. have not had one in a while. Very mild, but good. This Ladc is very, good as I suspected. Now, what to smoke next.. maybe something from that island south of..Evening Ken. My old 68 Paddila was pretty damn good too.

When I was in Missouri for 4 years started eating at one in KC and was the only one of two decent Mexican places in the whole damn state and the better of the two. Since then we eat at the one here occasionally.Chuy's is good . did you try Abuelo's in Austin .Mexican food for us here usually means Chuy's.Dave did you ever eat at Nifias in Houston , some very good food , and the place next door is good too .A million times at the old place on Westheimer and they actually had one in Austin for a long time but closed about 5 or 6 years ago, location was terrible. I used to buy 68's, 32's and Miami's on the Jams for $3 long ago and hoarded them still having 25 or 30 of them. 2008, 2009 and 2010 editions.Oscuro wrapper ones are my preference which this one was.I used to love those. have not had one in a while. You won't hear me argue! The Padilla 1932 was, and is an all time favorite cigar. La Antiguedad next! Very nice looking dark wrapper. Box pressed. No discernible smell on the nose, or taste on a pre-light draw. Very odd for Garcia. Lighting it up now.
Cupido Criollo Churchill. Don't have the exact date, but this is a 2011 or 2012 smoke. Whenever I had my first round of boxes from CC.
Chatty bunch tonight.I have not bought from CC since they did not send back my "Perfect Cut" cutter that I sent back to them for replacement. I was formerly a great customer.

Wow! I hope this cigar gets some taste going. Maybe my taste buds are way off today--medicines, and all. First third not much for me. Donna showed up about the time I fired it up. Maybe she killed my taste buds!thats a shame, I found it to be a Flor de las Antillas dipped in cocoa. You should have a few more new sticks to try tomorrow, I hope you enjoy one of them.
Will, I know it's a dumb reason. I get all the emails, and have been buying from them since '07. Seems everytime they have a sale, I am not in the market. Or it's some of the re-sell stuff. JR Salazar, and Vegas De Tabacalera Esteli were the only ones I would box purchase. They very rarely have the Vegas De Tabacalera Esteli. 5 or 6 years ago, a guy at the Miami shop told me that almost all of the boxes of those get bought up as soon as they are shipped to Florida. Kiki Berger makes them. Someone in Miami loves them to buy all of the boxes. It's probably too mild for me now. But, it sure did taste good when I used to get them!Chatty bunch tonight.I have not bought from CC since they did not send back my "Perfect Cut" cutter that I sent back to them for replacement. I didn't see that happening. I haven't bought anything from them in quite some time due to lack of good sales. They do 2 box discounts now, like 10%, as well as send a coupon code if you leave things in your cart for a day or so (another 5%, I think), so if something good did pop up, you could do even better. But not sending back a cutter? That's some bullshit.
David, the cigar is good. I'm just not getting much taste. I hope I'm not getting more sick! Thanks a million--love to try new stuff. I'm just about half way, and I'll see what it has in store. It's probably me.Wow! I hope this cigar gets some taste going. Maybe my taste buds are way off today--medicines, and all. First third not much for me. Donna showed up about the time I fired it up. I enjoyed smoking a cigar and drinking Cuban coffee at the shop. Some of the cigars are nice, last time I was there they were making a KOSHER cigar believe it or not. good to hear your doing better. I've been off sugar this month and lost over 5 lbs. I occasionally eat sweet stuff, but have been off sugar for over 6 months. So, in a weeks time I have so little that if I want a piece of German chocolate cake I'll eat it. Not that bad of an addiction. I could think of worse! What about pussy & beer & whiskey, and acting like your 25 when your 35 all the way to 45? Oh, and did I mention pussy? And beer? and whiskey? Oh, I did. My addiction beats your addiction..Ken, I'd kill to be 225!Me too...!!! I think I'm actually addicted to ice cream...

blood pressure meds have pretty much taken care of any addiction to pussy I may have had. :(Not that bad of an addiction. I could think of worse! I believe you do have me beat. I've been tired allot lately, and since drinking makes me relaxed and tired, I've sort of naturally slowed up on the drinking. 3 fingers of scotch tonight and 1 beer at lunch. I don't even think that qualifies as drinking...? Pussy is starting to be a problem too. I need to get my wife to do something silly to jump start my libido again...!Not that bad of an addiction. I could think of worse! What about pussy & beer & whiskey, and acting like your 25 when your 35 all the way to 45? Oh, and did I mention pussy? And beer? and whiskey? Oh, I did. Fred-Bob, you have to try many, and have a Dr. know what it is doing to you. I avoided BP meds for this reason--because I thought if my dick don't work, then fuck-it! I have some what changed that view, but anyway, I tried several, and have actually been able to reduced the dose on both of them. I may be able to quit one of them very soon, because my blood pressure is actually getting low. You have to talk with the dr. he won't know unless you tell him.blood pressure meds have pretty much taken care of any addiction to pussy I may have had. :(Not that bad of an addiction. Fred-Bob, that is awesome! Then. I have cut my drinking to almost nothing. I have not been feeling good, due to the BP meds had mine too low. Now I'm feeling better. I did drink 2 good beers tonight, and I used to drink 30. So, I saw the somewhat blurry writing on the wall and stopped that!I was 313 a year and a half ago, but can't seem to lose any more. We're pretty close.
