So, Tony...Google doesn't translate it correctly. Did you figure out my French?  Here's a hint...moule doesn't mean mold in this context. It's slang. I could have chosen the word minet.

A family is at the dinner table. The son asks the father, "Dad, how many kinds of boobs are there?" The father, surprised, answers, "Well, son, a woman goes through three phases. In her 20s, her breasts are like melons, round and firm. In her 30s and 40s, they are like pears, still nice, hanging a bit. After 50, they are like onions." "Onions?" the son asks. "Yes. You see them and they make you cry." This infuriates his wife and daughter. The daughter asks, "Mom, how many different kinds of penises are there?" The mother smiles and says, "Well, dear, a man also goes through three phases. In his 20s, his penis is like an oak tree, mighty and hard. In his 30s and 40s, it's like a birch, flexible but reliable. After his 50s, it's like a Christmas tree." "A Christmas tree?" the daughter asks. "Yes: Dead from the root up, and the balls are just for decoration.

A lawyer married a woman who had previously divorced ten husbands. On their wedding night, she told her new husband, "Please be gentle, I'm still a virgin." "What?" said the puzzled groom. "How can that be if you've been married ten times?" "Well, Husband #1 was a sales representative. He kept telling me how great it was going to be. Husband #2 was in software services. He was never really sure how it was supposed to function, but he said he'd look into it and get back to me. Husband #3 was from field services. He said everything checked out diagnostically, but he just couldn't get the system up. Husband #4 was in telemarketing. Even though he knew he had the order, he didn't know when he would be able to deliver. Husband #5 was an engineer. He understood the basic process, but wanted three years to research, implement, and design a new state-of-the-art method. Husband #6 was from finance and administration. He thought he knew how, but he wasn't sure whether it was his job or not. Husband #7 was in marketing. Although he had a nice product, he was never sure how to position it. Husband #8 was a psychologist. All he ever did was talk about it. Husband #9 was a gynecologist. All he did was look at it. Husband #10 was a stamp collector. All he ever did was...God, I miss him! But now that I've married you, I'm really excited!" "Good," said the new husband, "but, why?" "You're a lawyer. This time I know I'm going to get really screwed!

What is there to know?  You give half of that back on shipping, then $10-12 off of a regular price is about what you would pay during a special, so unless you are purchasing an already discounted deal....no bargain.

We really like it. The Emerald coast area between Ft. Walton to Panama city is soft, white sand beach and aquamarine water. Destin, although built up more than it used to be, was/is more the family friendly area. As opposed to spring break destination PC... aka, The Redneck Rivera. ha. Which I've been quite a few times, back in the day.

I enjoy them every now and again.  Definitely not a daily smoke or even a special event go to.  With that said, it's distinctive, powerful and flavorful.  Apparently a Pete experiment as a 100% USA puro.  Enjoyable on a full stomach.  I prefer the corona or grand corona.

Thanks for the feedback. Obviously, I've never sampled this one. May put it on the b&m list to try one, but I'm not getting too excited about a 5pk purchase today.

Agreed.  One of those smokes where I can't tell if I really like it... or if I don't.  I can't even think of anything to compare it to.  Maybe the MUWAT KFC - not in that it tastes similar, but that it's so different than most other cigars out there that it's tough to recommend based on other preferences.  I always have a few LCCs on hand, for what that's worth.

I have a work humidor!  Got some JFOO maduros and 'regulars' in there.  While I'm thinking of it - gotta drop my in-laws at the airport around 5:30ish on Monday, I'll probably just head up to Churchills after that instead of going home first.

I've smoked several.  Each time expecting that maybe the previous one was a fluke.  I'm just not impressed.  Hands down, my least favorite Tat.  And to keep things in perspective, I've never paid for any of them so you would expect "free" to taste better.

It's all good. I'll probably go with the Tat Black CG. It's practically the same size and as close to isokw I could get. Unless I see 'my friend' and he brings some more Cohiba Esplendidos by then.

That cigar just seems like a mistake.  Maybe it needs a decade or two of downtime?  I'd put it right 'up' there with the Bueso Genesis and Armada as far as worst cigar I've had in recent memory.  I don't have a full "Not Top 10" but those three would be at the top.

I smoked a RP Edge last night, been sitting in the humidor for who knows how long. Had fleeting hints of some really nice flavors, but every other puff was hot air.  I was ready to toss it after an inch and grab something else, but then it got decent.  Creamy nuttiness, real pleasant.  Then back to nothing and I was ready to toss it at the halfway point.  Then it got better.  Then the burn got all crazy.  Then it straightened out.  Incredibly inconsistent cigar that was tasty, except for when it wasn't.  Kinda my experience with every RP cigar I've had in the past 5-6 years.

Used to like the corojo Edge. Haven't had one in awhile, but your description seems to be right on with my experience. This and the Decade probably the only RP I liked well enough to buy again in some capacity.

With all the choices in that price range "fleeting hints" just don't cut it.....

Exactly.  If it where a $1-$2 bundle cigar it'd be good.

FYI, I did the add to cart test, 35 Tat Black CG jars at Famous in stock :)

You'd think it should take awhile to go through 10,000 jars (total production)... but you never know.

We all should probably get at least 1 more ea.  ;D

Any raving reviews for the Tatuaje La Casita Criolla? Coronas Mashing 5/25

*consists entirely of specially cured Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco.
I've smoked several.  Each time expecting that maybe the previous one was a fluke.  I'm just not impressed.  Hands down, my least favorite Tat.  And to keep things in perspective, I've never paid for any of them so you would expect "free" to taste better.

My least favorite Tat has been the Tattoo...
+1. Although I've never had the LCC. Still hard to imagine a Tat worse than the Tattoo.
Agreed

Used to like the corojo Edge. Haven't had one in awhile, but your description seems to be right on with my experience. This and the Decade probably the only RP I liked well enough to buy again in some capacity.
But unfortunately, depending on when you had your last one....the blend has probably changed.

Same reason I don't call liquor stores if I'm looking for some specific.  Even if they don't have it, there's a near 100% chance they'll have something else I want.

Looking around is over half the fun to me!
Figured you liked to be the watcher.

A bitch.
That Dave is a funny guy.
I had one out for you last visit (on the tray), forgot to take it with you.
Anyway, nice smoke but very average.  Reminds me of the original Rm 101 (before Conjura)

True..but I guess I wasn't thinking of it as new as the Black has been around.....and I enjoyed Pudgy Chuck....but it's not like I'll ever have a stockpile of them.  There is also the Casa Fernandez 35th, Curivari Reserva Limitada Cafe Noir, Intemperance BA XXI, Nica Rustica was this year, right?, Room 101 MC2, San Christobal Revelation, so I guess I stand corrected yellowstar.

Not that interesting a story.  Back in the late 80's I dated a girl who was best friends with Linda Ronstadt's niece.  We went to some benefit event, Reg was also there, and he was being a dick.  Not to me, I was just an observer at a distance.  This was when he was still recovering from throat surgery, so I suppose that could bring out the dick in any singer.  So...yeah, just that I got the distinct pleasure of seeing Elton John fifteen feet away being a dick.

But I do like his early work, especially "Madman Across the Water", where Tiny Bastige Dancer comes from.

I wouldn't have bought a connie from anybody else but I was curious about this one. They had the DPG Blue Maduro there also. Illusione Rothchildes were empty or I would have grabbed a couple, plenty of Tats and Lats. Very nice shop overall, had the Paybacks too but figured they were meh

Great start.  Very peppery, prelight.  Pepper settles down once lit but still get it on the retrohale.  Cedar is the prominent flavor.  Some really good sweet tobacco goodness too.  And that's only the first half inch.

Not overly complex.  I'm about half way in (TWSS) and I'm getting more of the same.  Perhaps a bit of leather now too Still enjoying it.  I would buy these.

Hope springs eternal.  But if he's elite in one of the sports that they give scholarships for, you're gonna start spending early...all those camps, and coaches, and the gear, and the gas, and getting him into the right high school, etc.  The only way to win the game is for him to get rich and take care of your retirement.  That's what I'm hoping for.
