Buy yourselves up some of this Organic Spring Mix at Walmart!

Salad sold at Walmart recalled after dead bat found inside bag

Florida --
A recall has been issued for a packaged salad after a dead bat was found inside a container.

Fresh Express issued a recall for a limited number of cases of Organic Marketside Spring Mix sold at Walmart.

The recall was issued after a dead bat was found in a package of salad purchased in Florida.

Officials said two people ate the salad before the bat was found in the package.

They have been tested for rabies.

Recalled Product Details:

- Organic Marketside Spring Mix - 5 oz. clear container
- Production Code of G089B19 and best-if-used-by date of APR 14 2017, located on the top label
- UPC Code of 6 8113132897 5 located on the bottom of the container next to the bar code

The company says the salads were sold mainly in southern states.

Fresh Express says consumers who may have already purchased the recalled product should discard and not consume it.
the important question - was the bat organic, or was it loaded with artificial bat flavors.....  ::)

Well you can't argue it's not organic.

I wish I hadn't read that. I've often bought those salad greens. Guess I should be washing it even though it claims to be pre-washed.
they only claimed to be pre-washed, nothing on the label sit it was explicitly bat free.  8)

Morning, muchachos.
Good morning, Raz.
Morning, Mr. Mayor. Slow around here today.
Busy soaking up the sun. I'm about to spray the perimeter of the house for ants and I may as well smoke a cigar while I'm at it.

The good ol' OK Corral!

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A heated verbal exchange between four men about parking spaces led a man to ambush and kill another man with a rifle last week, according to an arrest affidavit.

Jose Morales, a 23-year old Guatemalan immigrant, is being held on a million dollar bond in the Travis County Jail for allegedly killing Mariano Gonzalez-Lopez, 20, on April 6.

According to the investigation, Morales, Gonzalez-Lopez and two other men began fighting about parking spaces at the OK Corral night club at 629 West Ben White Blvd. When Morales and the people in his vehicle left the parking lot, Gonzalez-Lopez and the people in his vehicle followed them.
