Well, I've made it into the office and gotten myself up and running. Strange, as in our department has moved several times since we went home, so I've never worked from where I am at right now. And later, we have to move to the other campus a couple of miles away, since that's where a couple of meetings are. Why they decided to have meetings there, when the entire department is here, I'll never know.

That's one thing I can't complain about is my network speed at home. I don't notice any difference between working remotely and being in the office. It's been the same for the past three employers.

That's one thing I can't complain about is my network speed at home. I don't notice any difference between working remotely and being in the office. It's been the same for the past three employers.

Mine at home isn't anything to complain about, and it usually works pretty well. But being here is another level.

We do have a virtual machine option at home which makes it run like it does here, but when you use that, there's the tiniest of lags when typing. It's enough to put me off using it, because if I type while looking at the screen, it bugs me.
